  1. to compare dual carbs to a single carb you have to find the flow area. A 28mm carb has the area of 615 square mm. A 38mm carb is 1134 square mm. So it actually has a smaller amount of flow than the 2 28s do at 1230mm.
  2. I had one with a high resevre on my watch list just for shits and grins. It went for 15,100 about an hour ago. The seller provided free overnight shipping though
  3. hell the price is right.
  4. Put me in for a milled one at .030 your awesome Red
  5. I noticed that too I passed on my second try almost had it on the first just didnt know it was timed
  6. I see them on e-bay every now and then for about half that much, just keep your eyes open.
  7. If you are talking about the ressies a lot of people cut pop cans and cover them with those.
  8. You need to use an inside micrometer and measure the smallest piont in the carb throat. Stock is 26mm, if it has been bored it will be around 29mm tall by 27mm wide.
  9. Hey Ron kinda off subject here but have you ever heard of punctuation. I didn't understand a word you said. Are you in 5th grade or what?
  10. The arm that is mounted looks all out of wack that hiem should not be angled like like i dont think I shrank pictures so it was easier to see side by side
  11. You could paint them if you want a cheap fix but that usually cracks of pretty fast and looks shitty. I would have them pc'ed or chromed.
  12. I dont know how it is a ripoff they usually cost the same as any other elka.
  13. I ride almost every weekend and have been blowing the packing out in about 5 or 6 rides so it is getting a little rediculous.
  14. Ill have to give that a try. How often do you repack your pipes?
  15. I was just wondering what everyone else was using to repack their mufflers. I have been using FMF 2 stroke packing material and it seems like I have to repack my mufflers way too often.
  16. Those guys that made the videos have way too much time on their hands, watch the one where he jumps the shark.
  17. If there is any rock or stuff like that you may not want to run haulers but if it is dirty sand you should be fine. 8 paddle haulers should work good for your set up. They are a little harder to turn with than v paddles but much better for hills and acceleration. If you learn how to shift your weight and get used to them you can turn them just as well its just a little more work. Maybe someone from new mexico will chime in with what tire has worked well for them in that type of terrian
  18. Im not sure I would pic either. The sandstar fronts are good tires I would go with sandstar rears as well for what it sounds like you want to do. I prefer striaght blades like haulers.
  19. Ya beat me to it Whoever did the right up knew nothing about banshees
  20. You are 58% extreme You are more extreme than 99% of other users I not sure i want to know what it takes to get a higher score than that
  21. I think that an indy car that had not been toyed with (gearing) would run a very unimpressive quarter mile. They have to darn near push the things to get them rolling in the pits. They would probably never even get out of first gear.
  22. That is some good reading right there :baseball_w00t:
  23. Cascade sells thier kit for 470$ I guess thats a little better. :baseball_bat:
  24. I found a guy locally that cuts sandrail tires. He only charged me 20$ to shave 2 tires any way you want them.
