    I would check to see where they disabled it to see if it came undone? how much over an Idol will it rev?

    1 st why do you ask did the tors screws not make any idol change...sounds like you might already have the idol screws that are put in when you remove the tors... did you buy it that way ...did you remove the tors... back off the lock nut & screw it in & see if it idols up, unles syou want to take A pic ,but thats what it sounds like to me

    what exactly did you do since it ran ok. not internaly pistons ect ,but how did you do tors, did you remove the p- brake since ect... when you activate the p-brake switch does it make any differance in sound ...do you have A timming light or tach?

    its at your p-brake lever, just push the button in to see if that fixes it 1st

    check your parking brake switch, just above an idol does it act like a very low rpm rev limiter

    the only thing that is different is bore & new pistons gaskets ect... same everything else, why did you rebuild it ?
