If it has factory adjustment style no. Most are universally honda style eccentric, not bolt/ stud adj.

Well that eliminates most every issuse ...except tuning.
Like 97 said , he's had issues in the past ( dome/ squish) .
Work with him ; & 97 ; hopefully its something easily fixed.

While your in there Make sure you dont have a china timing plate...there #'s are off!
Can Fuel is not oxygenated or anything, is it?

Just make sure The machine shop is familiar with 2 strokes!
Make sure he uses wiseco piston clearance.
You don't need to change your jetting for that, but make sure you warm it up with wiseco in there... versus What you did with the stock Pistons.
All this, assuming the old pistons look good and you didn't have a jetting issue before. Do a leak down test when you're done!

I was at 340 stock port with pipes & pod filters @ sealevel so...
Does kicker need to move away from motor or clocked, it will clock some, the splines are fine & will still be lined up with slot. Dont clock it so much, it rubs on clutch housing, when up tho.
