  1. Bought some tierods from Nitmare67.......super fast shipping.........exactly as described.
  2. Make sure tors is not giving you the idle problem. You probably already knew that...just a heads up. 45 pilots sound about right, but the 158 main may be a bit fat. Good place to start though.
  3. Thats a 34mm Keihin PJ.
  4. I'll sell mine for $45 shipped. They are off an 05 and still have tors. The plastic housing where the cable splits has broken, but it still works. Also have the stock intake boots and crossover tube. Let me know if you need them as well.
  5. Q: Does a widening kit create excessive bump steer? A: Bump steer is when the front tires "toe-out" when landing a big jump, which can cause the ATV to dart left or right unexpectedly. All ATV's have bump steer from the factory, because the pivots of the tie rods aren't exactly lined up with the flex points of the dual a-arm system. This means that as the suspension goes through its range of up and down motion, the tie rods go through a slightly different range of motion which affects the toe-in / toe-out of the tires at each point through the range. Because our widening kits move the a-arms outward without actually moving the tie rod pivot points, they do increase the amount of bump steer in the system. The real question is "how much is significant, and will I notice it?". We have sold literally thousands of kits across the world. We can count the number of customers that have said they noticed a change in bumpsteer on one hand (less than five). This is even less that we would expect, because if you know what you are looking for, its possible to feel it. We think that the added amount of bump steer is an acceptable compromise compared to spending much more on expensive systems that avoid added bump steer. We recommend that you be the judge, because the chances that someone else's opinion is based on facts or experience, is unlikely... ^^^^What a joke!!!! Bump steer.....who cares?
  6. Its not about reliability........its about the screwed up geometry. Stay away from it.
  7. I had Brandon @ Mull Engineering do the port work for my banshee last year and just wanted to let you guys know that his work is top notch. He built me a 4 mill and put the power exactly where I wanted it. They were easy to deal with and have continued to answer questions for me......even a year later. Brandon has never hesitated to give me support. Oh yeah, did I mention that it hauls ass?
  8. They are Hella 500 lights and were bought at Wal-Mart. I am running a RS 200 watt stator.
  9. He built my 4 mill. Very nice. I told him what I wanted and thats exactly what I got.
  10. They are talking about replacing the stock studs with the studs provided from Pro Design. Unless you install a Pro Design head there is no reason to replace the studs.
  11. I will be going with the Barnett soon and its the basket I would recommend......but these are a few others. http://www.cyclepages.com/ProductDetails.a...oductID=5565251 http://www.magicracing.com/Wiseco-Billet-C...p_223-5249.html http://www.bansheedepot.com/proddetail.asp?prod=24%2D5766
  12. Try a Barnett. They are billet and have stainless steel inserts to prevent wear. Most others are just aluminum thats been coated for wear protection. http://www.barnettclutches.com/products/of...rod_make=Yamaha
  13. TM Designworks......expensive, but a truely nice case saver. http://www.tmdesignworks.com/xcart/custome...cat=&page=1
  14. Didn't even know the Quicksand bumper existed......I like it. I'll add it to my list.
  15. I'll give ya $20 for it!!!
  16. I think I'm leaning towards no bumper. I dig the way it looks, just hope I don't hit anything. The Duncan ($$$$$) is definitely my favorite bumper so far, and the Tag is next.
  17. I agree, thats a good looking bumper. I may have to keep an eye on them and find a deal. Thanks for the opinions guys.
  18. So do I leave the front bumper on or off? If I run a bumper the only options I like are a stocker or a Duncan......most everything else just looks out of place to me. Of course, I haven't seen every bumper out there, so if you know of one that fits nice and looks like it would belong on my bike let me know. I ride sand a majority of the time, but there is the occasional blast through the woods to show the four pokes how its done.
  19. Yeah, what sucks is when you forget to shut the fuel off and think whats running out is just from the bowls.....few minutes later :ermm:
  20. An offset sprocket may put some pretty nasty loads on that shaft. I would assume that you need this for a hybrid of some sort. If so, I would try to do something different to get alignment.
  21. I love it.....its so easy to stand it up in the driveway and wash it. The handlebars are at a perfect height to grab and push it around. I figured someone has already done this, but I guess you can't really leave a 4 poke in that position for a while.
