  1. I'll be there the 3rd through 5th. Group of 6 of us from the Fort Smith area.
  2. I'll take them, PM sent.
  3. no silencers. I have one intermediate pipe (can't remember what side) and one head pipe (left).
  4. I'll take $95.00 shipped for it. It is in perfect condition. There is some blueing near the exhaust port, which is typical. Not a ding in it.
  5. Anybody? I'm sure thats cheap for a set of stock carbs.
  6. Anyone have a need for one Toomey pipe? It is the left side and is chrome. Other side was damaged and I now have a new set. PM me if you need one.
  7. I would do $70 shipped in US.
  8. Factory carbs from my 2005 with tors and cable. Carbs are in excellent shape, the cable housing is broken at the Y but still works. $75 shipped (US)
  9. Stock stator from my 2005 Banshee with adjustable timing plate. Harness in excellent condition, low hours.....just upgraded for my new lights. $75 shipped (US). I am looking for 9 paddle haulers and would work a trade.
  10. It does have the platform, guess it is a blaster kicker....thanks guys.
  11. I have an extra kickstarter for my banshee, but I think its an early style. My banshee is an 05 and the kickstarter clamps to the splined shaft. The extra kickstarter has no bolt to clamp it with. It looks like the gear assembly was different on the early bikes, possibly had a tapped hole in the end of the shaft to hold the kickstarter on. Anyone know?
  12. Anyone know of a foam filter that works well for this application? Also, there are many different angled k&n filters, which seem to fit the best.
  13. Sorry to hijack, but do the uni pods fit well with the pjs and toomey T5s?

    lost a pod

It is a K&N.....I'll get a pic up shortly
  15. The yfz450 arms do sit kind of low, but they can be modified in a way that looks good when completed. Some will argue that the geometry is not as good with a yfz arm as an aftermarket, but you will never get good geometry from a stock banshee frame. I have yfz arms on my banshee and they turned out nice....rides a ton better than it did from the factory. I just didn't feel like spending the money for a nice aftermarket arm and putting it on a poorly designed frame. Others have put honda 450r shocks on the yfz450 a-arms to put them closer to factory ride height.
  16. Just wondering what everyone else is using for their 34mm PJ carbs with Toomey T5 pipes. I currently have K&N universal clamp on filters, but they keep getting burned on the pipes. I know a lot of people zip tie them together, but I want something that will actually fit without getting burned.

    lost a pod

I've got one with an outerwear. 25 bucks shipped.
  18. Once you've overheated a bike with a plastic impeller your screwed. It only takes a minute to check it and the gaskets cheap. Overheating is going to cause engine failure if you let it go. I would definitely check the impeller before changing your jets. Its so easy to do and worth your time......especially if its been overheated multiple times. Running pure anitfreeze is not helping much......it is not a coolant by itself. Do you have white residue in your coolant or under the radiator cap? If so, your impeller is trash.
  19. Makes a lot more sense......I guess the condition would not be as apparent on a four stroke since air does not have to travel through the crankcase. Thanks a lot for the help.
  20. Why do you have to choke a cold engine? I completely understand the air density, but the air coming into the engine should be relatively close to the same temperature when the engine is hot as when it is cold....especially when moving 30mph. Not trying to disagree, just looking for more clarity. WOW! I just reread my post.....it's really hard not to sound like an ass when typing. Sorry
  21. I have retorqued everything recently. I have never got the engine jetted right in the first place. It is real close, I just need some direction for jetting based on engine operating temperature.
  22. My banshee runs very well when the engine temperature is cold, but after 10-15 minutes of hard riding it starts to run bad. By running bad I mean that it has trouble getting into the powerband. Once it gets there, it runs ok but not like it did when it was cold. Always starts great.......have to choke it when the engine and weather are cold and crack the throttle a tiny bit to start it after riding for a while. The engine is new and has never been dialed in just right, so I was looking for some direction for my next jetting change. Its a ported 4 mill with 34mm PJ carbs and Toomey T5s. Everyone with a similar setup has far different jetting from person to person, so I am not looking for a jet size but more a direction to lean torwards (rich, lean, main, pilot and so forth). If I could make it run just like it does with cold engine temps it would be perfect. Thanks in advance.
