What is she shooting at? I don't see a target.

upp?
im still running stock carbs so no clearance issues there are they more durable than the stock rubber intakes? id imagine so..
UPP Racing. They make poly intakes instead of rubber ones. The poly material is tougher and more rigid.

That's what I would do.
-
Yamabond / Hondabond / 3 bond. Same stuff used for case halfs.
-
Seattle Yamaha dealer had the best price on them. It was a good 8-9 years ago though.
-
One piece billet intake with built in cross over, and 10 deg angled pod filters on PWK33's here.
-
OEM graphics are high. I bought a set of 06 LE graphics and it was around 3-350. The big ones going down the rear fenders were $75 bucks each.

So how long have you been riding it, relying on the oil injection system?

Glad you got it going.
But:
Next time leave out information that doesn't pertain to the problem. I.E. going to Mud Fest and not getting in the mud. Going to the beach but not getting a sun tan, sandy or wet. Riding drunk as hell but not impaired. Going to a steak house but not actually getting anything to eat.

what you think of this. never heard of em http://www.taiwanconnrod.com/
Id probably go with the Extreme Series because it can with stand Broncos, and Bulls.
-
after letting my bro ride it at mud fest drunk as hell and I think he put too much oil in the premix...
I am going to guess to much over reving due to no traction in mud, and probably over heated it due to not moving enough air over the radiator. High unloaded reving in combination of no air movement over the radiator isn't real good on motors. This is why you don't let your friend barrow your banshee let alone get drunk and ride your banshee.
Did you just let him ride it or did he barrow it? Where you there with him?
Id try new gas but if it doesn't get better I would do a compression check, or possible tear down inspection.

Then when your done take the cams out of your 4 strokes and weld and re grind the lobles for your own performance cam. You can save a bunch of money doing this stuff by your self.
-
Id buy a low bore set of cylinders and have them ported. Possibly a 4 mill if you have the cash.

BHQ has higher standards than ebay.

That's a dude or use to be a dude

I though Hot Rods used an anodized spacer between the two inner crank bearings. China copies every thing, it might be a clone.
-
Just claim the parts were stolen then. After all you didn't have a contractual agreement.
-
Cable lube is for cables, don't use lithium grease. Its thick and heavy and wont make its way clear through the cable.
I like to use Champions Choice Cable Life lube with a two thumb screw lube injector.
-
Id just use some zip ties to fasten it back down on the lower. The notches in the rail will keep it from shifting.
-
Single barrel shot gun but it has two tubes that hold 6rds each.
-
They claim 0.0008 is the normal thickness but they can use a thick application to add up to .004 on some pistons to decrease clearances.

I figured I would rather build one nice one vs 4-5 run of the mill ones.
