  1. If you look where the hanger bolts to the frame I had to space it out with a chrome 3/8 or 1/2 in thick spacer so the pipes wouldnt hit the head. I also got some nice chrome button allen head bolts for mounting the pipes up. When you buy your CPI's and you want nice chrome get them from Cascade Innovations. CPI's chrome isnt that great. Cascades is show chrome. Well worth the 50 bucks more in price.
  2. Black with Black Chrome / Glitter Clear Coat Frame Click on the Pics to see the full size. It makes the glitter easier to see. Kaotik1 did my frame.
  3. What is your bottom dollar for the rear wheel hubs?
  4. That is the whole point of V Force Reeds. Crisp Throttle. You have 4 reed petals per cage vs the stock 2. That means the 4 reeds dont opean as far as the 2 on the stock cage, but they flow the same amount. So the time it takes the reeds to opean and close is cut in half because they are not opeaning as far. That equals better throttle responce.
  5. RIS also makes a set of Front and Rear Hangers that have rubber in them. RIS Banshee Accesories
  6. Here is my tm design works. A 50 dollar hanger is worth the price is it saves a 500 - 600 dollar pair of pipes. They have a pice of rubber in them to keep vibrations from destroying the pipes. They aslo swivel too.
  7. Put a bolt through the stock hanger to hold it together. The solid aluminum ones are to solid and dont isolate vibration. That causes cracks to form. Why do you think yamaha used springs to hold the head pipe to the cylinder? I use TM Designworks front hangers.
  8. They are pretty sweet pipes. Night and Day difference between T5's and CPI's on an agressivly ported machine.
  9. I woldnt get that kit. The auction says that they are standard series pistons. You need 795 series pistons and a Noss Head with Stroker domes. Jeff can make any type of power you want. Midrange Monster to Top End Screamer. It is all in the type of Port job you choose. A 2:1 is a good choice if your wanting midrange. I dont know much abou them. Most people run a PWK 35mm carb on a 2:1. I dont know how the low end throttle responce would be with a pwk 39mm carb. If you think your motor needs a singe 39mm carb it would probably run better with dual pwk33's.
  10. Here is Jeffs web page. He is a site sponcer. You cant order anything off of his page. He really wants to talk to you before you just start ordering parts. He also does porting. FAST Racing LINK
  11. Yea 93 will be good for +4. I ran 91 on +4 and 155 psi compression.
  12. A cool head with stroker domes. So you could get the cool head now and run regular domes. That way when the 4 mill crank comes you just have to swap domes. 795 Series Pistons
  13. Dennisk Kirk sells cobra sparkies. They just clamp on to the end of the silencer. They are 70 bucks a pop though.
  14. Call and talk to jeff before you get that kit. He can probably be in the same price range as that kit. It isnt really a kit from hotrods. They are just selling you everyting you need at once. Same thing jeff at fast will do. Only you will be buying from a reputable shop. How much is the kit your looking at buying? Got a LINK? Some people say 7%. I dont know what 7% feels like on a banshee. It is a very noticable gain. If your crank is shot then it is only a few bucks more to build the 4mill vs a stock stroke crank. The stroker crank moves the crank pins out 2mm than stock. So the rods have more leverage on the crank. Same principle as putting a cheater on a wrench when you have a tight bolt. You dont gain a lot of power from the extra CC's, your gain is more midrange pull. What bore size are you on or going to be on?
  15. 6 Chrome Out Frame Drag Pipes. Bling Bling.
  16. I run +8 and 185 psi on 110 octane fuel.
  17. TM Design Works (nice stuff but you pay for it)
  18. Dont buy a crank off of ebay. Buy it from a builder. Jeff's 4 mill long rod cranks are priced the same as on ebay. mid 400. It might be a little more but it builds relationships. Ebay isnt going to help you out in a bind. Here is what you will need. 4 mill long rod crank wiseco 795 series pistons A set of stroker domes. Ethire from Noss Machine or Fast. I believe they both come from the same place though. Noss knows domes. Send your jugs to a builder to have them ported for the 4 mill crank. It will work much better than just slapping the crank in there.
  19. I didnt really change at all eithire.
  20. I like the look of the fenders. You dont see people chopping of jeep fenders
  21. It all depends on what you want to do. I had a pair resleeved. Cost a little more than a port job. I was happy with the port job so I spent the money on sleeves. Had 66mm to 68mm bore sleeves installed. I just run blaster pistons with my 4 mill long rod crank. I just looked at it this way. If the price of the new cylinders and port job are the same as a resleeve job, and your happy with the port job then why not have big bore sleeves put it if it cost about the same? It is not economical to take a set of non ported cylinders and have them resleeved and ported.
  22. What is your jetting now? You have PWK 33's right?
  23. Or fix it right and buy a new inner clutch hub from fast for 30 bucks.
