  1. Yeah, I have issues with attention-whores, and the leg-humpers that encourage them. Nothing that a good donkey-punch won't correct.
  2. Well, you're not doing badly....but you're slacking a little. ;-) Have had my current one (first one I've really owned since my 409cc '88 the I sold in 1992) for 2 1/2 weeks now. So far: --Pro Circuit pipes --V3 Reeds --Renthal Bars --Noss Head w/ 21cc domes --TORS removal --(insert carb tuning here and take up 5 lines to make it look longer) --Tether kill --YFZ Front end setup --Lockup Clutch (Modquad) --Adjustable timing plate --K&N/billet filter setup --extra 2-into-1 Motofast pipe setup spare --SS brake lines --Tires and wheels --Alumilite nerfs --Billet Case Saver --New controls (brake/clutch) This coming week should add: --+2 axle and aftermarket carrier --porting I'm just anxious for this winter so I can pull it apart and do some serious mods.
  3. Ons: Tight body, cute face, intelligence, a sense of humor about themselves, and eyes you can drown in. Offs: Whores who join predominantly male forums and thrive on the attention that it attains them, bitches who talk about penises as if men don't complain about their sloppy asses or "toothpick-in-a-volcano-twats", and about 1000 other things that piss me off about the typical whore that most women are, but think that they're pulling off something new.
  4. Do you have CAD drawings of the parts that you wanted made? I've got a pretty decent machine shop setup at my shop that I could probably make the stuff for you at a decent cost.
  5. PM me where to Paypal the money to and I'll get it out to you tomorrow. Thanks.
  6. It's highly unlikely that you're hurting anything, but with 114 on your setup, I'd venture that you're not getting complete burn (IOW...losing a little bit of power).

Ahhhh...I love threads like this. You've gotta love the people who put all of their weight behind the term "engineer". I've only been in racing for about 12 years on a daily basis, but it's always nice to watch those who tell you why something *SHOULD* work (engineers) argue with those who know something *DOES* work (racers). I've had enough engineers as customers who tell me why something "could be done better" only to return to me at a later date to have me correct the issue.
  8. I'd want to know the compression as well before saying "yay" or "nay" on the 114. Even if it were in the 190s, I'd be surprised if it needed anything over 105-108 unless you're really jacking the timing. Anyone know off of the top of their heads what stock quench is on these motors?
  9. Nevermind, I'm an idiot and didn't see the "click to view full size" at the top. PM sent. Thanks.
  10. Is this a J-arm or A-Arm frame, I can't see it in the picture too well. Thanks!
  11. Is there any way to get a vendor review forum/thread going, or is there one that I'm missing? I see the forum for "good/bad" sellers, but that seems to be based only upon sales that are from one member to another, not through vendors. If I'm missing this somewhere, could someone point me in the right direction? Thanks.
  12. Sent you a reply. I should be around the computer off-and-on all day today, and you can also feel free to contact me on my cell if you want (included the # in the e-mail). Thanks again. Josh
  13. I'll take it, and send you $50 on top of it. PM me your information or e-mail me @ [email protected]. I kinda missed my old one that I kept around as a spare. Thanks. Josh
  14. So long as the titled frame is straight, I'll take it. Get with me tomorrow and we'll figure out payment and shipping to 19440 (Hatfield, PA). Seems like lately, Greyhound is the way to ship them if you have a terminal near you. Thanks. Josh [email protected]
  15. Heh...I think that like me tonight, you've got too much time on your hands and are thinking too deeply about these things. Now...back to why "Phonetics" isn't spelled like it sounds. =]
  16. After just placing an order with Andy, I can say that I'd never buy anything there again, nor reccomend someone else buying from him! He was rude, unhelpful..... JOKING! JOKING!!!!! Actually, it was a pleasure doing business with him. I just picked up another Banshee for the 1st time in years on Saturday, and wanted to go through it and add a little power (my 1st one back in 1990 was a fully built 409 bike--stock ones just aren't as fun ;-) ) and ordered around $1000 from him so that I could go riding this weekend. Aside from an understandable miscommunication error on the shipping (which he went out of his way and tried to remedy more then he needed to) he was very helpful, gave me great pricing, and pulled some strings to get the stuff out in time for me. I'll definitely be going back to him if I need something else in the near future, and when I tear this thing down to build the motor up over the winter. Hats off to Andy! Josh

My point was letting you know that they were cheap new if you didn't know what they could be had for. However, my point after your attitude, is: "Anyone have a used set of spark plugs for sale" --or-- "Willing to trade $125 in food stamps for a billet impeller" --or-- "Wear yarmulke, need billet impeller"

You know that these are like $60 brand new, right?
  19. James, Would you be willing to sell the components unfinished for a unit? I have no problem welding my own, but I don't want to have to get the parts water-jet cut, nor have to make a CAD drawing for the 5-axis. I just want enough to build one for myself, and possibly my brother. Thanks. Josh
  20. WTF is "For SELL"? Are people that f*$^ing illiterate today? I fear for our youth.
  21. In most places, regular pump gas is oxygenated. But, yes, cooler combustion chamber temperatures will be often seen from running high octane. Why? Because it doesn't burn as efficiently as lower octane fuels. End result, too high of octane will cause performance LOSS, not gain. Unless you have the compression/timing advance to need race fuel, it's not gonna gain you a damn thing. A lot of people think "Higher Octane=Higher Power" when it's simply not correct. Octane is a measure of detonation resistance--not power ability. You want gas to ignite and burn. The higher the octane rating (anti-knock index) the more the fuel resists ignition. Once again boils down to my original statement. Unless you running high compression (static or mechanical) or increase the timing, race gas will do nothing for you. I'll add to that: Race gas used when not *needed* can actually cause power LOSS. I've run C16 or VP import in 2.0 liter cars running 30+ psi and putting out 500+ whp, since the late 90s. Back before using standalone ECUs and being able to adjust the timing maps to compensate for even higher Octance-rated fuels, I'd see drops in MPH/Dyno figures. A stock Banshee has no need for higher-then-pump gas Octane.
  22. Nice stock DSM intercooler they're using on that thing. Too funny.
  23. Race gas isn't going to do jack for you unless you're running the compression or timing advance to take advantage of it. People think that race gas=more power. When in reality, race gas *allows* you to run more timing/compression which actually makes the power. Dumping higher octane in something when it's not needed is like throwing money out the window.
  24. Damn. A lot of DSM guys on here--good to see it. I don't have any DSMs available at the moment (unless you want to drop $25K on my GVR4 that is almost done ;-) ). Looking for any parts? Got a crapload around (HKS Manifold, T-72, T-61s, etc., etc., etc.). Josh JNZ Tuning,Inc./JM Fabrications
  25. Where are you loacted in North Jersey? Thanks.
