Am I an idiot or is this Ebay add way off.
DRI4life replied to broke's topic in General Banshee Discussion
uuuuuuhhhhh i dont get it.. am i missing something???? whats so way off. looks like a regular ebay auction to me... this is my guess....... its an outlaw frontend for sale and reserve is not met.. and he only has 1 feedback -
yep im actually saying it and i know its hard to accept but the stock shocks blow. i would tell you otherwise if i was a shock rebuilder but i dont want your money.. that stuff is good for mild use and to tune in your hill shooter or drag bvike to get better traction but if your into hard riding and jumping then dont mess with them. you already know this. you can also argue "yea not all people are rich and spoiled and dont have money for aftermarket shocks blah blah blah"... im telling you and everyone from experience. and im sure il get quoted a few times but i dont care what your arguement is.. hard riding/jumping=aftermarket shocks........ or you suck at riding.... :baseball_bat:

you gotta be kidding me.. 100 posts and you cant look one thread up... thats pinned at the top

if your complaining about stock shocks then dont use them. upgrade to an aftermarket with better quality and you will be fine. mess around with the adjustments one at a time to dial it in and you will not regret it.. sounds like you actually use your suspension so dont bother with the stock upgrade rebuild crap. trust me they suck. gives you the fix for a little bit but wont last.. shocks are your best friends on banshees

this is seriously my new favorite eastcoast website...

the weight differance between 8 and 10 inch rims is like two ounces. nothing at all to make any differance for wieght. i would say a 20" tire mounted on an 8" rim is heavier then with a 10" rim.. tire weighs more then rim.. anyways its just if you want more sidewall squish or not. you want for the dunes for your bike----rear 20x10x10 8 paddle a ten inch rim is fine fronts i would use a 21x7x10 on a ten inch rim ofcourse and i say use mohawk tires the razors are very demanding especially if you dont run haulers..

its ok brooke.. you can ride one of my banshees
-
why dont you come to my playground, and instead of racing an eighth mile we can race for thirty minutes straight... on dirt... dont care about your cool 10 sec 10 mill super neeto low rider pavement racer. i ride desert where the shit talking is in your balls and not just in your wallet. too boring for my taste save your money for the hospitle bills cause you wouldnt last three dunes on all fours..lol
-
haha "slow peice of junk".. thats funny.. you wanna call me slow then prove it.. been there done that with the drag shit.. its ALOT more fun putting a huge drag motor in a suspension bike and racing through the dunes/whoops.. but you wouldnt know that cause you obviously have no skill for any desert.. no need to get but hurt over some stupid pics, they only go with the thread. its just the internet :baseball_w00t:

ahhhhhh are you crying... do you need a tissue..... grow the fuck up pussy

get over the fucking lame drama.. its outta control

yea i have elkas and there lines are bigger compared to works. not saying its a big differance or you should go one way or the other with remote or piggy. but i wouldnt say its insignificant though... blah blah blah its just my opinion i would say shaft dia. is more "significant" on any shock that is being beaten the shit out of. this is offroading right? high speed compression and decomprssion with hundreds of pounds of force on a single shock will begin to break it down wether its seals, shaft, leaks or just bent or broken. so i say, bigger is better...... on a truck, buggy, atv or rhino/samuri
-
you bring up another good point.. i dont like piggy back cause they dont hold as much fluid as a remote. which means lower fluid temp. you could also argue that the line acts as a heat sync.. to your ? above.. im not sure what your saying.. ad a bigger ressy to the stocker?
-
yup txblueshee i do need a rebuild my oil is pretty old.. but i wasnt saying that an elka wont fade out or break it was just a comparison to the factory shock rebuild upgrade (by elka, works or anyone). also it doesnt matter if you have stock, stock rebuild or axis to win in MX. its all in the rider imo.. not saying im a shock/suspension pro, iv just riden and owned a million banshees with all sorts of different suspension and motors. thats where all my talk comes from.. and im still always learning

this sounds badass. im gonna have to go to this. see you there with the cheetah braaaaaaaap
-
no not at all.. i was talking about me with the edit. no pissing here  sorry for the confusion its almost hard to explain. you rebuilt your rear so you know how a shock works.think about whats going on in there. not only the diameter but the coating on the shaft is important. the bigger it is the better it pushes through the oil. its all about temp, longevity and performance. shock fade is a big deal. yes i have rode on a rebuilt shock and plenty of my friends have done it. after the first ride there squeeking and act as if they were no differance internally. but i do ride in hot the hot desert were most of you guys ride out in the mountains and such were its probly cooler.

when i first got it i thought it was broke cause of the powerband i had to take it to the shop twice and ask them to check it out.. hahhahhahhaahhahaha im sorry but that is the funniest shit iv ever heard on here. i understand but wow thats fucking funny. you got balls to admit that one     ok im done posting today

hey pete you asked me all those ?s and your still not sure.. cmon you know roll design is the best. janseen looks a little week to me and iv never seen anyone race those arms. maybe im wrong idk. so cal fab isnt proven either but they make great products. all these arm ?s that everyone posts are mostly preferance. any of those kits are fine.
-
Full front suspension with +2 A-arm's and good shocks for $500?
DRI4life replied to Turbobanshee_kid's topic in Suspension
i have that exact kit on one of the other banshees. works just as good as any other kit out there. its the same price for elka non ressy as it is a works with ressy. i went dune edition elka hands down.
