  3. You know why people buy CPI's right? I hope you weren't thinking you were buying a low-mid pipe it is a mid-high pipe. when I went from T5's to my CPI's I knew before hand to kiss my lowend bye bye. For me that is good because I only use it to drag race up the700 ft hills! Check the thread that sedrish made about jetting look at the chart. I agree with the needle and or taper of the needle .

  6. Dajogejr, PM me your address, I will send you these 39MM if you want to test bigger carbs. They are of no use for me ATM. You didn't say if you tried a differnt CDI box... Have you measured the resistance between the pairs of leads off the stator? if you have a clymer please direct yourself to the top of page 223...

I am thinking of selling my cub for a 4mill stroker setup. But I want to get mine tuned it and run it against someone with a 4mill cub and see how bad I loose or dont loose
  9. how can you know your AF on a dyno with a 2 stroke, I was told if you put it in the end of the pipe it will gum up the af tool...
  10. Ahhh the T5's came like that from the bikes previous owner. My shearer are chrome. I dont think it turning blue will bug me at all

  12. No this isn't me... I am a fellow who is not cheap. It is like buying a Viper and putting in 85 octane 7-11 gas... My opinion is, why do it at all if you are going to do it half assed that is all.

  14. I have 3 cars 1 suv. All have siruis. I have had it for a very long time. When I got into a rental with XM i wanted to throw it out of the window. I am also a Howard Stern and Bubba The Love Sponge Fan... I do prefer Siruis that is for sure. XM is currently going down hill...
  15. Interesting you would put that kind of cash out and not go the extra step for the carbs. Why not give the pipes back and get some 35MM Strikers or something.. I have some super nice Mikuni T34MM 02E Carbs you can buy!

  17. If you want to stop this problem and want it done correctly by pros vs having some crappy spray paint on them. www.hpccoatings.com All of my pipes are coated 2 and 4 strokes. My Titanium Yoshi on my 450r turned blueish purple. I found it highly ugly and annoying so I dropped it off at HPC and a week later .. Look @ my Avitar picture.... Basic type handles to 2000F then you go up from there. You can get differnt colors of it also. My Rossier pipe is black.... Here is the rossier Here is my T5's with the HPC coating
  18. I want to stress... Anytime you buy a "kit" from anyone regardless of how helpful they are over the phone. You are stuck with the items you buy and a lot of these people who claim 100 HP spend hours on the DYNO.... You need to keep in mind all motors are differnt and it is up to you to screw with them until you find a working combo And most important is the dyno time.

  20. To me it sounds like an airleak or something with the intake. that is my opinion though... Did you clean out the carbs and everything? What compression does the motor have?
  21. you said the plugs "look" okay... Why don't you just put new ones in and make sure the wires are okay. if it idles okay and then it has issues off idle does it wake up when you have it pinned or does it totally bogg and never hits powerband?
