  1. Yo John, when's that comin out again? :yelrotflmao:
  2. They lower the rpms at which the power band hits. So basically more low end power, but it also cuts the top and mid range power. I'm not a big fan of any of the 2 into 1 stuff, and I do all trail riding.
  3. Congrats dude. Go kick some azz!!!
  4. I had the same deal on a swinger I bought. I assume your talking about the 2 aluminum "pucks" that go between the bracket and the caliper mounting plate.. If I remember right from doing mine, I fabbed up 2 - 1/2" spacers from aluminum stock. I'm not 100% on that though. I'll try and check for ya in the next day or so.
  5. Weal gol-dam, I aint never be thinking I aint misspell no wurds. :yelrotflmao: I remember a similar post a year or so back, as long as anyone has access to a keyboard there are going to be some posts that will be tough to sit through.
  6. The next bike I see that has been made for 18+ years, I might trade a shee for. That says a lot.
  7. Aww, come on man, it aint that far. :yelrotflmao: Come on out, and I'll buy you a beer.
  8. The paint works ok. I had a buddy who did it, and there is a lot of prep work involved. I do all trail riding, so my pipes always look real nasty, real quick. The last couple sets of pipes I had, I sent out to get high temp powder coat. Works really good, holds up really well, and doesnt chip or flake. http://www.loudins.com/ is the dude I use. He's been doin my stuff since I was into Toyta trucks back when. Here's a pic of the PT mids I had done, and a set of FMFs
  9. I have Razr 1s on my 2002, but I will definately be going with the Razr 2s next. My buddy had them on a 450R, and they lasted a long time, they look beefy as hell too.
  10. You running +2+1s right? Your tie rods are probably out of whack, I just recently had the same issue with my bie. I'd check that first. I forget the length of the tie rods for the +2+1s when extended out, but I have it written down somewhere, and I've posted it here before. Also, if the tierods happen to be fine, disconnect them at the steering nuckle, and see if you can tell if it is the ball joints on the knuckle that are binding up, or something in the steering stem. SHould be easier to troubleshoot like that.
  11. Theyll fit, but they front end will sit about 1-2" lower. Also, the Elkas will be valved and sprung for a Blaster, so they probably won't handle all that well on a banshee. Also, what kind of arms are you running? And what kind of Blaster arms where the shocks set up for? Your best bet would be to stick em up at Project Blaster or on fleabay, and then buy a set of Banshee shocks.
  12. Whoa, I've never seen a heim used as a tie rod end. Personally I don't see the advatage, I'd probably switch back to ball joints. RMATV doesnt carry chrome as far as I know. If you have a stock banshee end layin around, thread it up and see if it will fit. One end of the rod should be a left hand thread, and one end a right hand thread. If they don't you could always get new +2+1 tie rods, they are pretty inexpensive, and then put the stock style ends on them.
  13. Location? Different parts of the country tend to have higher/lower prices. My guess would be 500-800.
  14. Damn chase, how many pb guns you got? Shit, I stay kcikin it with the A5 even tho I'm way too outta shape to play. Bump for a cool dude!
  15. Hell yeah, I used tor un Fatties, and then SSTs, great pipes, I let both sets go for $100 a piece. If your were going to buy new pipes, you could do better, but if your looking to buy used, those are going to be the best bang for the book. Even used Toomeys go for grip.
  16. $1000??? Damn, you take it to the stealer or just plain wreck it?? I rolled mine end of end about 4 or 5 times, and it landed upside down between 2 trees. I fixed that shit for about #200 worth of used parts.
  17. Bump for ya bro, I can't afford it right now, but that is one sick lookin' chassis. You want me to post up the pictures for ya??
  18. Yeah, like he said ^^^, get into a union, youll be set. I'm not an auto mechanic, I do engineering work for a utility company here in NJ. The auto techs that we have, start at about $16 an hour, and top out at about $32 an hour. After that you get into management positions in the fleet department (non-union, no more hands on work). I would assume it would be similar at most other large companies. I know these guys do bust their asses until they get into the management positions. The pay isn't great, but if that's what your going to like doing, you can definately make some green, especially on the OT.
  19. Standup guy, would definately do business with him again!!!
  20. I think the word is fugly
  21. :yelrotflmao: That's fuckin' good. Bump for ya!!
  22. Any chance it has skid plate mounting tabs?
  23. I hope so, cause she don't have much else workin' for her.
  24. Yeah, I've looked at that one before. I did the Paiute ATV trail about 6 years ago on a Kai Mojave, and I was swearing myself up and down because everyone I went with had bikes with racks. If I were to go on a long trip, like the Paiute again, I'd probably buy one, but I wouldn't want one on my bike all the time. From what I hear they are pretty durable. The warning they put on the site basically means don't try to overload the rack, and then go off a 20 foot double and wonder why you broke something. My buddy had a similar one on a 400ex, and I remember it being pretty sturdy.
  25. Now, you mean to tell me there's things to do that don't have anything to do with banshees?
