I think im only good for about 15 or so. I help out with kids wrestling(ages 4-7) and you get about 10 of those bastards around your legs and they pull you apart like wolves on a fresh kill. But with some well placed knees id say maybe 18.

Before you tear you bike apart be sure to check your cable and make sure it just doesnt need an adjustment.

dont forget about the insane fattys. all good drag banshees run fattys!

I paid 120 for a nice set of used fmf fattys, the finish wasnt the best but they were dent free. For the riding I do(trail and track) they work great. When I got a little more $ I had a buddy powder coat them with some high temp pc in black.

One more thing........If the clutch is toast can I use any plates or does hinson make specific ones?

I know its not a banshee but I hope its all the same. I just changed the fluid on my 250r and now I cannot get my clutch adjusted. No matter if its clutched or not it goes when I shift it into first. Prior to changing the oil I could not get it adjusted, it always wanted to roll on me when I had the clutch lever in. The last time I rode the R it got really hot. I was actually trying to pull my boys on a sled in about a foot of snow. Does it sound like a toasted clutch to you guys? Its a hinson too, if that makes a difference.

chatterboxes? no idea what that is. I have refered to my wifes friends as chatterboxes but probably not the same thing.

the guy here charged 150 for everything, including a different needle and jets. when we started i knew it was rich cuz I was breaking in the motor still. It was at 59 at first and 64 when we were done. then we put on the ignition and got a few more.

just got the decals this morning, looks good. the smaller ones found a spot on my fenders but I need a nice heated garged before I tackle the window decal. thanks again chase

I recently put steel brake lines going to my front brakes. I blead out the brakes after about an hour of dicking with it, and now i notice that i have good brakes but they seem to not wanna release(the right more than the left) I dont know if they were like this before but i can hardly turn the hubs with my hands. is this normal? if not what do you think the deal is?

I have a freshly rebuilt banshee deckedout for woods/track and a 250r set up for woods/ track as well. I am looking at trading both of these straight across for a nice built 450, yamaha, suzuki, or honda. Just looking for somthing different. The banshee I just got back from FAST and has 1 tank of fuel ran through it. It has a low to mid port, trued and welded, match ported cases, billet impellar, elka shocks, aarms, axle, shorter swinger, nerfs, single 39mm carb, fmf fattys,dyna, vforce 3's and alot more. I only have a pic of the banshee before the nerfs and motor. The 250 has a 310 by ct with porting, hinson, works shocks, lonstar axle, arms, and tons more as well. it has lots of flaking of chrome but is still an awsome bike. let me know if your interested and I can get you some more pics.

I would like some pics as well. I have a banshee pretty well set up for anything. elka all around, aarms, axle, great motor work, shorter swinger, blah,blah,blah. That is exactly what is was!!! My wires were swapped and where I had soldered(spelling?) the tails I had a sharp point that poked though the tape and was touching my steering stem. What a f'ed up deal. Thanks fellas.

I will agree, that bike shop definatley has potential with the guy who is running it.( I forget his name) I bought my son an eton from there not too long ago. Super friendly and knowledgeable. By the way how did the Jamboree go?

i was kinda skeptical about asking this question, I figured it would get more laughs than responses. Definately a first for me too.

just like the title says. I cut all the trash out of my wiring harness, just like the diagram on this site. Eliminated about everything. I did everything exactly like the diagram, the only difference is that my key is my only on off switch on the bike. Every thing runs and starts great, the only issue is at higher rpms, when I pull in on my cluth I get one hell of a zap( at least I know I should have good spark :geek: ) Tell me what you guys think before I restrip my harness.

I have a lower end I had purchased for the crank and tranny. Well I ended up taking it to a professional instead,(jeff at fast) so I still have the damn thing. Im looking to trade it for a good mid to high rev 250r pipe. It is the cases and everything inside still together and in great shape. shoot me any offers, 250r or banshee related, hell or even a good rifle :biggrin: . I just dont need the thing.

i stand corrected, the jamboree is actually the 20 and 21(just read the flyer) I guess they couldnt correspond with the nance county sherrifs dept. so they had to move it back a week. But if you are down there this weekend look for a blue 250r with haulers on the back.
