  1. I would think you would want to run something like curve 1 or 2 with about 5 degrees initial advance, tapered down to something like 0 or 1 degree off stock advance at peak rpm. So you would have some low end advance for take off, and it retards off at the top to help the top end pull harder. Thats if your really running a drag port and cpi pipes. Its something that would have to be programmed into the cdi.
  2. Thanks. The helmet lights are definitely a good investment for night riding. Probably one of the best lighting things I have ever done.
  3. Are you running race gas at all?
  4. Im getting the feeling he is a little teenager, and we are wasting our time.
  5. Holy Jesus, thats about 9 degrees of advance at one point using curve 3.
  6. You dont have to use the plate, you can program the advance into the cdi. Thats what I do.
  7. No, its stock. Its not advancd at all, its identical to the stock cdi curve.
  8. spot, flood, and euro on the bike. There is a spot on my helmet.
  9. T3's? Not really. They look like T4's if they were a toomey.
  10. I used to run one up front, I didn't like it, all the wiring and the battery box were always packed with sand.
  11. If you listed out your mods and your riding style, I could make you some curves that you will feel a difference with.
  12. Well thats why most people dont do the dc conversion. They have to wire it, and figure out a battery mount. It wasn't an issue for me cause I have a welder, and I'm a 12v wiz kid. I thought about drawing up a diagram and selling them for a few bucks. I even thought about producing battery brackets too. Most people get scared off with this whole dc conversion thing.
  13. That LT500 Rotax runs a belt to a chaincase.
  14. I don't understand what your question is?
  15. Lets see, salesman at the yamaha shop in beaverton, oregon told my cousin and I that the yfz450 was superior because of the ergonomics of the unicam. Had my cousins boyfriend tell me he was gonna smoke me in a drag race on his cr450F 2 weeks ago(what ever that dirt bike is). Raced him 1/8th mile on the drag strip at Coos Bay and beat him by about 5 bike lengths. He then told me he meant we should go race on the flats. I said that would be a top speed run. We radar tested his bike at 77mph in Sand lakes, mine does 72 mph. I told him I just needed to change the gearing on the banshee and it will still beat him (I run 13/46 gearing), he was baffled. Some peoples kids!
  16. I had a member email me, and I accidentally deleted it. No extra mods needed for this setup, unless you trim out the radiator cover to see the gauge better. Use the 16 psi cap.
  17. The only thing I can recommend doing is either calling power pros and having them look at them, or measure em and plug in the dimensions to a pipe program to spec em out.
  18. Before you do anything, you should run some two stroke performance books like A. Bell's book,
  19. I have the only battery pack right now, I was testing it out for Nick. He told me when he gets them in here in a few weeks then he can let em go out the door to me for sales. They are $195.00 and they come with the charger. I dont know how much it is for extra single packs as of now, but I think the chargers are around $50.00, so the battery packs would be about $145.00 or so.
  20. Did you read the post in the other thread about these?
  21. Have you ridden or hung out with them before?
  22. I run the only pro circuits they make. You have to choose pipes based on your riding style, and list of future modifications (IE type of port job, etc.......). So once you commit to what thats gonna be, then I will spend time talking about pipes. If you want to know about all those pipes, do a search.
  23. They are power pros, those look nothing like a T3. Is this the same guy selling them? The name is the same. DallasGdub
  24. toomey for needles. Then car parts warehouse, pats small engine, or rocky mountain for jets.
  25. They are more than likely a custom set, so the only way to tell is measure the chamber diameters and lengths. Then measure the stinger outlets. Unless the seller knows what they were made for power wise. They're standard production pipes use stamped panels on the chambers. When they have cones like that, it usually means they were spec'ed out and custom made. These are the production in frames they make. You can notice the same header tubes.
