  1. I have the trinity aluminum intake, and that other guy above said he had the boot, that would make a completew intake. Unless your running a big cylinder 460cc motor or bigger, I would not recommend running a 38mm carb.

EXAMPLE: -Dynoport ported stock cylinders 188 degree exhaust duration -Pro Design Coolhead with 18cc domes (185psi comp) -Dyna Ignition with custom programmed curve -Stock reed cages with carbon tech mid tension reeds -Dual 28mm Mikuni TM flatslide carbs with K&N Pods -Shaved stock flywheel -Cascade Clutch kit with the roller bearing ball end adjuster -Dyna coil with NGK Plug Caps -Stock Crank -Wiseco Pistons (stock bore), squish setup at .043" -Pro Circuit pipes with the standard silencers (ceramic coated) -BR8ES spark Plugs -110 octane sunoco with castor 927 at 40:1 -Stock intakes and stock boost bottle -22x11x8 super light 10 paddle haulers on .125" thick douglas rims. -13/46 gearing -Cascade billet shifter -front dual rib steer tires -home made double footpegs -swingarm (+6) -stock axle, stock hubs, stock a-arms. 4. I blew the teeth off 3 different stock baskets in a week one summer.
  5. The carbs have to be baselined correctly to work. So they have to have close to the correct main jets, needles, clip positions, slide cutouts, nozzles, float height set, pilot jets, and a/f screw settings to begin the jetting process. Like the other guy said, if you have an ignition issue, or other runability problems, your gonna be chasing your tail.
  6. I found a new set for $150 close to home. Good old Craiglist wanted ad.
  7. Pro Circuits
  8. pro circuits have two different types of silencers you can run. Call the people your going to order them from, and ask questions.
  9. I talked to Tim this morning and he even has the hook up to do beefed up tie rods, so that will be cool.
  10. What kind of shape? What color springs? Are they knicked or scratched up at all?
  11. Looking for some stock front shocks, preferably not needing a rebuild and in decent shape. Pics help, but not a must.
  12. If you do a search, the dc conversion threads are on the forum.
  13. WHAT????????????? I COULDN'T HEAR YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. Yeah, I just need to find shocks now.
  15. I still haven't seen anything better than a Mr. Gasket Temp cap. It is cheap, easy to install, and accurate. my .02!
  16. Sorry, I want Tim to make em.
  17. Im going with Stellar, he is the best. My good friend already had Tim do him a set and they turned out fantastic.
  18. I wonder if I will have to send him the shocks to have them built?
  19. I was thinking of getting some +1 or +2 a-arms made from stellar for some yfz450 take off shocks. Is there a certain year of shocks that I have to use, or will all years work? Anyone got pics of a set of Stellar arms made for yfz450 shocks? Im not too horribly worried about stability, but with that in mind, can anyone think of any other reasons to go with +2 arms over +1 arms?
  20. Unless your running a big twin you will see a decrease in performance with a 38mm carb.
  21. My Uncle owns a Napa store, so I have access to cheap cleaning products. I have tried wesleys WW cleaner, simple green, that purple castrol stuff, and the list goes on. I stumbled across this one day on clearance at cycle gear and tried it. I will never use anything else ever. It cleans the crap off, and leaves the bike shiny afterwards as well. I buy it in the Gallon bottles from Dennis Kirk. Bike Brite
  22. I dont know what that will do on a 2-stroke, but it didn't work real well with the 1984 corvette.
  23. Alright, that was a funny joke. Now who is it that started the fake user account and asked this question?
  24. Check for slides in backwards. Also check for the choke balance tube being on between the carbs.
