  1. how do you set the floats in these carbs. and how do you know where to set the floats or is it trial and error?not sure how to tell where there set now. there attatched to the bowl of the carb unlike the stock ones where there attatched to the carb
  2. bought them new. how do you set the float hieght?
  3. cant get my shee to jet and ive tried about every size of main jet and havent changed my pilot have some on order now but the way i understand it your pilot jets are just for idle not mid range and my bike starts and idles great im going to try a 40 and 30 has a 50 now but i doubt that is going to make a difference. atv starts up great starts off great and as soon as you give it throttle it kind of bogs out i have athena big bore cylinders(392cc) bigbore cpis oversized radiator 34mm flatside mikunis k&npods. i have on order the pilots and a new needle jet it has a q2 but ordered p8s but im not sure thats going to be the problem because from 280 mains to 400 mains it didnt make a bit of difference. still did the exact same thing but when i have my fuel on off position it runs great hits the powerband and runs like its supose to but obviously you cant ride it like that. anyone have any input on what else it might be. the local shop kept telling me i need an adjustable timing plate but im pretty sure that shouldnt have anything to do with it because it runs right on off position. have 340 jets in now. thinks its close to the right mains. everythings clean and practically brand new. elavation 1400ft.
  4. hi i lost the black plastic piece off of my master cylinder and found some for the warrior that are a little cheaper and was wondering if they are the same master cylinder. thanks

  6. a light brown about what its supose to be but the little hook on the plug is pretty dark. like its running really hot. i dont know if its a carb problem or not. i was told i might have to mess with the timing from a local shop but everyone i have talked to said that it shouldn't make to much of a difference. and when i had the 300 jets in was when it was running the worse cut out pretty bad and had very little power. would only go about 5 to 10 mph like not getting any gas.
  7. hi i have a 2001 yamaha banshee with 392cc athena cylinders and pistons with 34mm mikuni flat side carbs cpi bigbore pipes and cant seem to get them to jet right.elevation about 1400feet. i have went from 280 jets to 400 jets and every time i put the jets in i test rode it and it does the same thing everytime. it starts first kick has 140 compresion on each cylinder. it starts off great no bogging but as soon as you hit the throttle it cuts out and has no power but never dies. if you hammer on it in first it hits the power band for just a second but as soon as you shift it just kind of bogs. i currently have 340 jets in it now and think its close to the right jets. anyone might have any suggestions on what i should do next?
