  1. Yeah, see if you have power at the yellow wire. Then check the input to the switch, then check the output of the switch. If you had a short, it would probably melt the harness. It sounds like you have high resistance or an open somewhere.
  2. Nope, I dont even know anyone with a set of them. I have only seen 1 set on a banshee at the dunes that I can remember. I can ask Kenny and see if he has dyno tested any.
  3. Are you sure the headlights worked when you took it apart? Are the headlight bulbs ok? Is the voltage regulator plugged in? Does the light switch feel abnormal at all when sliding it?
  4. I would say your a victim to the shitty stock pipes, they make horrible low-mid power. You can try adjusting the needles and see if it gets better, but aftermarket pipes will help out a ton.
  5. looks like a 44mm carb.
  6. All the motors we tested the pc's on were strokers or torque built motors. The pc's have had the most torque and hp out of the pipes we have ran. On this recent 6 mill cub motor with torque port we got 92 hp with the pc's and 87 hp with the ptr mids.
  7. All the dyno testing we have done on pro circuits indicated they only made power to 8600 rpm, but they offer the most torque you can get from a set of pipes.
  8. pull it back out, sounds like it was not installed correctly.
  9. Do you plan on doing any port work?
  10. I have seen people shave the jugs to lower exhaust port timing for more bottom end power. You cut the head to make up for it. Maybe thats what he did. You can measure the jug length base to top and maybe someone else can give you the number off a stock jug thats not shaved.
  11. You realize that just because a pipe makes big hp doesn't mean its the right pipe for you. How about you tell us where and how you ride, whats done to your bike, and what you want the bike to run like.
  12. Are you a new owner? Did it just start doing this? Did you switch up premix or change something? Where gonna need some insight to help you with this.
  13. I got the pipes on, I have the single pwk 35mm carb. Bike is ported with 169 psi compression. I started it at 190 main, eek needle in the leanest clip position, 42 pilot jet, and air screw 2 turns out. It smokes like a mofo at idle right now. Anyone have any input on where I started with the carb settings?
  14. there is 3 total e-clips in a banshee motor. 1 on the water pump gear, I think the one on the kick starter gear is a snap ring, and 2 on the transmission shift fork shafts. Pull the clutch cover, if you dont find it missing off the kicker or the wp.......well then its time to split the cases. I may be wrong on the wp gear, but I know the fork shafts have e-clips.
  15. If you want a torquey midrange port job I would talk to dyno dave from ilr performance. If you want something mx oriented I would call dan wade from patriot racing.
  16. did you take the choke assy out at some point?
  17. its either a 4 mill, or a long rod crank. Your gonna need to know what is before going any further. If it is a stroker, you will need to port those jugs for a stroker crank.
  18. Well, I still have a motofast pipe with a shit canned broken silencer out in the shop. So, if worse comes to worse, then I got that pipe still.
  19. No, not even close to a good deal. The guy up here charges $125 for sandblast and powdercoat.
  20. pj is a flat slide, pwk is a d-slide. #12 is a pj flat slide. #3 is a pwk d-slide
  21. At this point it needs to be drilled out, then have bungs welded in it and re-tapped.
  22. theres a yellow wire that comes out of the stator harness, thats the power for the lights. It turns into a blue in the back. So, there is no stock kill switch/light switch pulfg in up by the gas tank?
  23. Apparently the ps3 is going to be having a price drop soon.
  24. Mine is Snopczynski
