try your gearin .... 10 pad tire on a +4 swingarm is prob hookin pretty good. i ran 9 pad haulers 22' on my old 350 bike with 15-41 ... with a +6. i wiegh about 175-180lbs

that really sucks !!!! but feel bad for your son.. hope he's ok. just think about the story he's goin to tell his 2 yr old buddies..... he got burnt on his dads bike, then got home and his bike takes a poo. i feel the same way sometimes.. everytime we got to little sahara..... seems like something is goin to break , we try and take 2-3 bikes a piece. and hope 1 comes back runnin .thats one reason i didnt go on are spring ls trip ..... didnt feel like spendin the $$ to rebuild my bikes or drivin 8 hrs to tear them up. if your kids like to ride , then keep the bikes. i love my bikes and prob wont ever sell them , but im puttin $$ away for a boat for the fam . i give you a 9 1/2 for shittiest weekend !!!

you should pull the rear shock off, let the bike down till the swingarm is level .... then measure from bolt hole to bolt hole.... then you will know how long of strut.. is it a link (stock style) or no link swingarm set up ? i think my strut for my shee is about 13' .. and is adjustable. unless you are riding on a groomed track .... i 'd run shaws. struts are for asphalt and groomed track. and i 'd run a strut in the rear.. but keep some shocks in the front. look for some 400 ex front shocks. u want your a-arms flat across ,and swingarm level

if u go with lockup.. look into the slingshot... just mod your stock side cover, then u dont have to spend acouple of billz on a new side cover. also , wcr came out with a new overide that is suppose to be safe bein backloaded... think it has a 1 yr warrenty

true... alot of people do run high octane fuel when they dont need it. as u said... its just wastin fuel ,$ and power .....

why ? if you are tryin to get the most out of it, you'll be looking at high comp which is goin to lead you to higher fuel . for the most out of it --- that would prob mean goin with alky

true, only acouple peeps ride my bikes... and they either know how to work on them or have the $$ to fix them. my buddy was on my old 350 when it started shooting piston out the exhaust .. he tryed paying for it, but i wouldnt let him ... just one of those thing. unless you know how to ride and have the $$ .. ur ass isnt getting on my bikes. that sucks for your buddy , but that shit happens ..... hope you guys are cool . sounds like it was just one of those things.... i will only let acouple peeps ride my bike now that i have a overide, unless u rode one before... ur ass isnt getting on . def post some pics !!!!
