  1. sorry guys.. but i do think they'll go great on my chassis! I got some 14" hillshooter shaws forsae if anyone is interested! lol
  2. I have seen brats larger then 20" and more then 9 paddles.. Maybe JD will chime in on what his are.. I know his are comp cut also
  3. its called "comp cut" and they shave them things right down to the cords... lighter then a SLS
  4. if your gonna junk them.. send them to me.
  5. they off a banshee? any trades?
  6. you caught me....
  7. I dont like sprint.. Hell, I dont like any of them.. a cel phone isn't very high on my priority list.. I got better things to spend 100 bucks a month on. So I go with the best bang for the buck. .which is sprint. They give you more for less and coverage in my area is great. With sprint, its 40 less a month compared to verizon and I get more.. Its a no brainer for me. Verizon has nothing to offer me to justify the extra money.
  8. just for the data. but after text and calling plan.. your way more then sprint Verizon's cheapest plan is 39.99, then 20.00 more for messaging, and another 29.99 for unlimited data that = 89.98 Sprint is only 69.99 and unlimited everything other then mobile to land line. And I get a extra 23% off my bill that verizon wont match.
  9. verizon's unlimited data plan costs me about 40 more a month.. I'll stick with sprint. lol
  10. wheelie bars are typical the length of the wheelbase of the chassis.. there is many different way of building the bars. Your best bet is contacting Tim at stellar. He can build you one hell of a bar.
  11. My money is on this.
  12. One of the biggest overlooked aspect is that the engine may have made 100hp at the wheel in a bike.. but once you get it into a quad chassis they'll loose 25-30% from the added rotating mass and resistance from adding another tire. That knocks it down to 70-75 hp + the added weight.. this is why most 4mil builds will perform better then street bike conversions.
  13. really isn't a wrong way to do it.. as long as they're not lined up.. its to allow oil to reach the plates.
  14. I used to use the billet saver.. but.. i got to thinking about it.. and if a chain broke.. The billet savers ran a higher risk of breaking the cases at the neutral switch cover along with the top edge of the case.. This is the style I use. I like it better then the TM since I dont have to remove the sprocket to take it off, also.. its easier to shave down to fit bigger sprockets. http://cgi.ebay.com/...sQ5fAccessories I got a knock off version and was only 20 shipped. So you just need to keep an eye out and you can get them much cheaper.
  15. no loctite.. just torque it to spec and use the lock washer
  16. I run 24-32:1.. depending on how much oil I have available.. lol but usually 24:1
  17. I got some UPP for CR500 reeds.
  18. None of my kids has made it to her due date.. they always been 2 weeks early. sooooo i guess well see. Someone got room for a 42ft hauler on their site incase I go last minute?
  19. Hmmmm.... Lets see.... A stab in the eye with a spoon.. OR.... A divorce..... You know... You might as well stab me in both eyes.. cuz a divorce with 4 kids isn't gonna be pretty.. lol I told here she needs to be induced on the 29th... I think she thought I was joking though...
  20. Turns out.. I may not beable to go.. My wife just told me last week she was pregnant.. and guess what.. she says she's due oct 16th.. So I can't organize and get things together for the MI crew this year like I was planning.. I still may be able to go.. I just dont want people relying on me to get down there.
  21. ported? if so by who? whats the max bore?
  22. Yeah, its strong for sure! also, EK makes screw type master links for the EK SRX chain, No more worries about clips falling off!!
  23. you'd prolly loose anywhere from 10-20hp +/- by using stock carbs on a drag port. With a drag port, your gonna need a 35-40mm carb. Call K&T and see what they suggest for your setup. They'll beable to get you close on your intial jetting with carbs their familiar with.
  24. I had the same problem on my 99' no matter how much i bleed them. they were still spongy... I just kept working the brake with the cap off and it eventually tightend up.. big pain in the ass.. must have taken me 2 houars of pumping that brake lever... I'm glad I dont use front brakes anymore.. lol
