  1. I run these carbs too,on a ported banshee. The carbs are totally custom from the bodies to fuel bowls. They are based on a 28mm pwk thats oval bored. The bowls have a side overflow to prevent having to run reed spacers. I noticed these carbs are very rich in the midrange.I'm running a 55 pilot 150 main and needle in the second clip from top.During the summer months I run the leanest clip on the needle.Airscrews at 1.75-1.25. I've ran mikunis and pwks, let me tell ya,These are the best 28-30mm carbs for the banshee.Especially for the price.Carb parts warehouse is a few minutes from where i live,The guy is well known and respected in these parts. He does the tuning for Bill ballance,Tracy Cecco and other factory riders.
  2. I think they are a good alternative to v-force,but ti depends which rad valve you have.I run the ones that are completely open inside on my drag ported motor. The other style has a bullseye similar to v force. Some swear by v-force,but I only noticed a difference in the low-midrange between the two.
  3. i would only use this as a reference. It all depends how your engine is set up.I run 170 psi on 18 cc domes and 94 octane. The domes were recut which would allow up to 180psi still on pump gas.The squish is what dictates octane requirements.Every application is different.
  4. The base gaskets that come with moose and vesrah kits are around .020-.030.The gaskets that come in wiseco packaging are .012-.015.I believe they are made by cometic.
  5. Theres nothing wrong with trying pushing your product, but theres ways one should go about it. Lets take Rocket pipes for an example,I see some people are disgusted with them and feel they are cheap pieces of shit.Others say they are the best pipes around. Now I don't know the whole story behind rockets, but from what I can compile they are junk.this may be in part to the new ownership,i don't know the whole story. So i should just assume rockets are junk and invest in cpi? What happens if rockets change ownership again for the better.Shall we just assume its still the same shitty pipe builder. Call cpi and ask them how there pipe compares to rockets,i guarantee they will claim they make a better pipe, not claim that rockets are cheap POS.Understand were i'm coming from.In business theres a certain way you do things and certain ways you don't.I've got a brand new set of Fullflights for my raptor.i will try to take some pics and post up.
  6. learn how to land 80 ft doubles and even the less popular brands you claim are junk will hold up.I never said garys products were no good.I know people with quicksand a-arms and they have no complaints.I just said he has no class if he bashes his competition. If his product was really that good,he would not have to downplay his competition.Any real business man will tell you that.Think about it.I'm just telling you my experience and the experience of a couple others who run those a-arms.You don't have to justify to me why you spent all that money on your a-arms.I'm justa guy with 6 measly posts
  7. No,gary was trying to sell his a-arms.If you spent some time doing a little research rather than copy and paste, you would see that the guy that made ugly is not the same guy who makes full flight. If you seen the a-arms in person you would not discredit their worthiness or weld quality.Im a welder by trade so i have some insight.Obviously gary is the type to bash his competitors, thats ok cause its his right, but knowing that,i wouldnt spend a dime on anything he has to offer.i used to think the same way until i had to choose between showing off all the money i spent or the next best thing.not all of our pockets are deep.
  8. But you would buy a product from a guy who discredits his competion. That too is a no-no in business.Number one rule of thumb in owning a business is never talk bad about your competition. You can claim that you make a better product, but don't bash theirs. All your going by is word of mouth,I can tell you of 3 hard ridden banshees that still have their original full flights on them with no complaints.Anyone who's ever ran a business can tell you.You can please some of the people some of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time. I thought the G-Force axle was a pile too, until I bought one and spent all summer thrashing it.Best 200 i ever spent.
  9. I disagree,Don't ever listen to some one who talks bad about there competition. It shows absolutely no class and I wouldnt deal with them on any level. To take the advice of someone who actually has a set is one thing,to take the advice of someone trying to promote their product is stupid. I have had these a-arms for over a year.Absolutely no complaints what so ever.I MX my banshee and spend alot of time in the woods. The PC isn't that great but unless there chrome plated, the finish will not last. Two of my friends had them and they are hard on equipment.Definitely worth the $350
  10. The ceremony on test day should open up with Slayer playing "raining blood"
  11. If it made less peak power, did it make better overall power?Did it have a better powerspread?it might have made less overall hp,but made more hp in other rpm ranges. hard to say considering the way an engine could be setup.
