i can buy a frame from a yamaha dealer for 563.00 brand new, but no vin #s, what good is a frame with no vin

just finished tearing it apart will have pics on tomorrow , the motor is fully ported, the carbs are huge , it was set up for mx. sorry for the delay

parting out banshee i just picked up , its got huge carbs(they look way bigger than stock) i measured the inside of cylinder side it is 1 3/8 inch diameter , can anyone tell me what size carbs they are .

i have 93 frame with title, new york, and i have a 1990 roller frame

the same thing happened to me last week, clip and washer came off idler gear , got jammed in plastic water pump gear , broke that then bike overheated. if the clip is off the idler gear you can tell right away, it will be very loose

people think just because you grind the #s the vin is gone for ever, not true. if you heat the grinded down #s you can see them while its hot . the metal is crushed deep when stamped , i have seen i done before at a truck shop i used to work at ,and a guy got locked up for having stolen shit. ps, that hole free banshee story sounds like BS.

i heard you can get your stock cylinders nikasil plated?

i just picked up another banshee (#3) today it must have been raced, +2 a arms , ohlins, paul turner pipes,big carbs, and alot of other goodies, got it running , the thing is really , really fast. anyway it must have a good port job, i was just wondering i has the letters FMF grinded into the sides of both cylinders, do you guy know what this means(does FMF do port work) or is there another company named FMF that does port work that you guys know about?
