hey i would check the level of antifreeze in the radiator

did you check the radiator fluid level before you rode it , or after you bought it? If it was low it would ovrevheat easy

or if you have your stock head the torque sequence is on it.

yea drain the gas for shure. my plugs are NGK BR8ES . They work great for me.

he means to see if your banshee is leaking antifreeze out the lines you cut to to remove the collent bottle. I bought coolent bottle a relocater from world class motersports , I belive about 25 bucks

I went from a 4 stroke 2 a banshee , And it is so much more fun. Riding a banshee is such a rush, its all about the powerband gota love it.

well all i can say i love my banshee. i have only had 6 months but I wanted one for since 89 thats when i first saw one. I bought 400 ex in 99 an it is damn good quad my wife loves it. she is scared to ride my banshee, it kills the 400. i rode my brother in laws buddies yzf 450 with full pipe an jet kit i was not impressed , i cant wait to blow him away. i think the shee handles good but it is just so fun to ride .well i going to put it back together now

hey i belive you can use any kind of motor oil, or use 2 stroke oil. Also did you have the throttel all the way open when you did a compression check?

hey your compression sounds a little low i belive it should be around 125 psi stock , an no more than 10 psi diferance between cylinder? you can also put a little oil down the spark plug holes ,an if the compression raises your rings would be bad. So good luck an

Hey cadillac , Shoot i have my fuel line over my boost bottle an it works great . i have never heard of having to prime there carbs before you ride. Maybe try cleaning the carbs

i had something like that happen to me. it was hard to start then rev high wouldnt turn off , had to hit the gas with the key off to bring it down. Mine was both pilot jets were clogged. so try cleaning the carbs . if that dont work check for an air leak.

yea i had that problem to, mine was the pilot jets were clogged , i would clean the carbs then go from there
