  1. Make sure those v-force reeds are sealing good, I've been told that they sometimes don't seal to good and you need to use something like yamabond on them. Good luck to you.
  2. Ya, your right, thats what I'm doing now, was just saying I never had problems with dennis kirk. Sure hoping for a t-shirt,lol
  3. I'm new here to, seems to be a fair amount of good people here. Hell I use this for info and ideas and also made a few friends. Life too short to worry about the little shit. Just my .02
  4. I've had good luck with them, but then again, I can jump in the car go one hour north and pick stuff up and see what I'm ordering, just my .02
  5. I have one and an empty wallet to prove it
  6. Don't buy them from e-bay, My nephew tried and got screwed, Give Jeff @ F.A.S.T a call and he can hook you up. He goes by fastoys on here. Thats what we did, good price and fast service.
  7. I'm a Paint plant foreman for a paint making factory., basically I tell grown men what to do and what not to do. Also the maintenance guy, they break it, I fix it and weld it up and make it stronger. Funny how that works.
  8. Twin Cities, Minnesota
  9. Just want thank Jeff at F.A.S.T. for helping me get carbs for my nephews Banshee. My nephew got totally screwed on ebay ,so I called Jeff and he had carbs dropped shipped to me in exactly one week. Owesome, Thanks Jeff, you put a smile on a fifteen year old kids face.
  10. Cylinders sold, thanks eveyone.
  11. Right on!
  12. Use the pro-lites, get some v-force 3 reeds, advance your timing +4 deg. Get that flywheel lightened by boonman. Pull the top off that air box. Get an aftermarket head with 20 cc domes and let that b*tch eat. All these modes are well worth there money, even the v-force reeds. Make sure you get those cylinder checked, they might look good but they do oblong after time. and finally check your jetting. Good Luck
  13. Any takers?
  14. I gave the BIG MAN upstairs a little chat today for you and your family, were all in your corner, don't give up.
  15. O and I forgot to add the cylinders come with the bolt on exhaust flanges too.
  16. Okay here goes, Numbers on the cylinders are 48H and Y-1, The head has the numbers 31K and Y-1. I used a caliper to measure the bore and got a reading of 64.5mm. Looks like the person before me did a little porting, In my opinion nothing serious, just a clean up job. I was going to port them and build a power valve motor and changed my mind, Jeff at F.A.S.T is porting my stock cylinders so I really have no need for these laying around my cluttered garage. Anymore questions feel free to ask. Thank you
  17. I've got 2, one is all stock and the other is .030 milled. 20.00 + shipping for the stock, 50.00 + shipping for the milled.
  18. RZ power valve cylinders with stock head and servo motor and cable $175.00 RZ flywheel $40.00 Package deal for both $200.00
  19. Welcome , now you have a new money pit.
  20. Saw it advertised, gonna set the recorder just in case I miss something. Looks like it could be good.
  21. I use my plasma cutter for everything, making gussets should'nt be a problem at all. Try to tig weld everything, it just isolates the heat better or a mig would work to, either way just make sure the metals clean. Good Luck
  22. If you decide to buy the clicker type, like Cotton Eye Joe said ,get a decent one. Keep it in a case and remember to set it back to zero once your done with it. They don't like to be thrown around much, the beam type can handle a little more abuse.
  23. Go purchase a beam style torque wrench, there alot cheaper then the clicker type. Personally I use the s@k clicker type but for you the beam style would work just fine. Just my 2cents.
  24. Try doing a search, Someone on here tried it and it did'nt work, there not interchangable. You will have to send your flywheel out to Boonman, he does great work and fast turn around.
  25. I was going to build an rz motor for my banshee and while doing some research on it the only difference is really the power valves. Tha stator and flywheel are different but you could still mod the timing plate for advancement. Hope this help, good luck.
