  1. Just got my cubs in the mail today, everything went great. Everything is just as described and was shipped real quick. Thanks again Jeff
  2. Make me an offer
  3. Thinking about switching to a cub and want to get rid of my gorr port cylinders. They have about 5 hours on them and where ran on klotz at 32:1 and always clean filters. They are bored .40 over and comes with the pistons and rings. I will try to get pics up in the next couple of days just trying to see if anyone is interested. I know it is pretty difficult if at all possible anymore to get this port job. I have $250 in the port and $150 in the pistons everything is practically new barely broken in. $400.00 shipped o.b.o I have a set of old school fmf pipes that need painted because the chrome is mostly gone and they are a little rusty comes with silencers, make me an offer
  4. If your compression guage is right you are way high for pump gas. I don't know exactly what you mean by regular gas but 160psi is usually the cut off for 93 octane. I would strongly recommend not running the bike until you get the proper gas.
  5. Just wanted to see if anyone has tried ceramic hybrid crank bearings in their banshee. They claim to have a dramatic effect on the vibration from the engine. I'm getting ready to rebuild a ktm and just thought I would see if anyone has ran them.
  6. I don't it see it as being a bad thing to let a more experienced rider race your bike and show you the potential it has. You could be like everyone else and just keep dumping money in your bike to try to beat other bikes when all you need to do is practice.....but what do I know.
  7. They should go to canada
  8. Engine ice, cool head will keep you cool. Good 2 stroke oil and regular oil changes will make your shee more reliable.
  9. http://www.macdizzy.com/ Here is a good website with alot of information on porting two-stroke
  10. If I am wrong correct me but are the lsr 250r geometery frames that much better than say a modern day yfz450.
  11. PM sent
  12. 200-220, my 03 yz 250 had 220 after a fresh rebuild and that was on the high side.
  13. It's awesome to see that other people enjoy a chew when working on shit. skoal straight or mint for me
  14. (219) 313-1424 this was a number I found in a previous post about his shocks, I don't know if it's his business number or not.
  15. If it is a wiseo piston the number on top is 50mm. There should be some other numbers on top which you can match to the wiseco part numbers. A .20 over piston would be 66.5mm if you measure it with a caliper.
  16. Pics?
  17. Assuming your guage is correct, I would be suprised if you could start it cold with the kickstart. It just seems like a pain in the ass to me to have to pull start it and the lack of power you will notice when it is running. It's not like it takes more than a couple hours at most rebuild it. If you have a manual you could pull the head off and check the specs on the cylinder, piston and rings. I don't know how far away you are, but I would hate to drive there to ride then have my shit not start after 30 minutes.
  18. What is your elevation? If the compression reading is 95 and you are close to sea level, it would probably be in your be interest to at least rering it before the trip. If you have excessive clearence between the piston rings and cylinder wall the piston can move in the bore and take out your piston and cylinder. You would also be looking at splitting the cases to get peices of piston and cylinder out of your crank bearings.
  19. Where are you located?
  20. I'm looking to trade my 34mm PJ's for something a little smaller, ideally some 30-33pwks. Might throw in some cash for the right deal. One carb has the bowl drain welded and ground to clear the clutch actuator. I have have the tops there just not pictured.
  21. I know I will probably get flamed for this, but me and a couple buddies went in on one of those jet4power meters and have had good success with it. You have to weld an o2 sensor bung in the exhaust and we used it strictly for tuning. I read alot of post about how narrowband wouldn't be accurate enough, but none of them had tired it. I talked to a bunch of people who had bought the units and had great success tuning two strokes, so it seemed like a worth investment. My banshee has a gorr port with 34mm pjs and I talked to wesw about jetting them and bought the needles he suggested then hooked up the meter. The sensor was accurate enough to sense a change in needle clip position and my plugs look perfect. If you can get some buddies to go in on it and then just get some o2 sensor bungs from an exhaust shop it might be something to look into. We have used it on a ktm 250, yfz 450, 250r and my banshee with no problems at all and done plug chops as well just to make sure it was on. The sensor has to be warmed up to work well but reads from idle to wot. Just my 2 cents
  22. I have a stock stroke wiseco hot rods crank, How much you looking to get on top of that?
  23. Are you going to part it out or just the nets? This is a good deal for someone looking for em.
  24. What is this from? Just from the quotes I can tell I am missing out on something good.
