  1. This is the only pic I have of them not great, but you can see the bolt and reed.
  2. If they were stock cages wouldn't they still only have 2 bolts per reed holding them on? My reed cage has 3 holes in it for 3 bolts, I thought the stock cages only had 2.
  3. Why would you take off ported cylinders and replace them with oem 05 cylinders is my question? Do they need sleeves or something?
  4. I have some reed cages on my banshee that came with it when I bought it. I'm not sure what brand they are they have 3 bolts holding the reeds on and all of the replacement reeds I look at have 2. It is an 88, but I thought they all have the same reed design these just look similar to stock.
  5. Well if you are sure it is not a scam it is all a question of morals. If you got a good deal on it and are selling it for market price then that would be fine. If he is clearing paying more for it than others in the area of same quality; Would you be ripping him off? Many will say sell it for what he is willing to pay. Do you think he is truely uneducated about market prices for banshee's, if he has been looking at others it unlikely. Do you really need the input of others to make this decision? $5,600 for an 03
  6. What are you looking to get for them cash? Only carbs I have to trade are 34mm PJ's so they would'nt help you much.

  9. It's all in german or some shit.
  10. Are you wanting to sell this or considering buying it? I wouldn't pay more than $700 here in Indiana. You have to consider how low the price of banshee's are now, when you can pick up a 1999 or 2000 banshee for 2 grand it's going to be hard to get much from an 89.
  11. Without an inital compression reading from when it was first built it is hard to tell anything by those numbers, if the domes have been cut and there was a need to run race gas depending on altitude about 160psi it is definately time for a top end rebuild. It would be best to go ahead and pull the head off and check to see if it has indeed been cut and check the cylinder clearance.
  12. The tracks and dragstrip as well as the trails are open all the time, but I don't think the lights at the dragstrip are up all the time or they were not last time I was there.
  13. The trails are not the most manicured in the world. (ie. lots of ruts) They do have a good amount of land there though somewhere in the area of 700-800 acres and have lots of trails. There is a small mx track and a decent dragstrip. I don't know about a place to stay, I only live about 30 minutes away. I will tell you the town Laurel, IN is somewhat of a hick and undeveloped town so bring spare parts; levers, handlebars, ect. because you will have a hard time finding them around and if you do expect a raping. What days do you plan to be there? I might be able to meet up with you one day.
  14. I have been riding at Haspin Acres quite a few times and it is pretty fun, but am currently going to school in West Lafayette (Purdue) which is about 30 minutes away from the badlands. I haven't had a chance to go check it out but wanted to see if anyone had any pictures or are going there anytime soon. From what I read there is dirt and sand. Do you guys that go there run paddles or dirt tires? Have'nt been around sand at all, Silver Lake is the closest dunes and it's a good 4 or 5 hours away.
  15. Pictures?
