never had the problem. I wouldent use look tight mybe a dab of grease or some thing then again dont know how good of an idea that is either.

Just try bumping it up a couple degrees just to see if that helps.

what is your timing set at?

Is it poping like its gasping for fuel or is it like bogging like it dont want to rev up like there is to much fuel.

The pro wedge 2's are better

A buddy of mine had a 250r that he let me play with on porting it and stuff. Anyways had it down at the drag races and the second pass coming down the return track it locked up. tore the clutch cover off and found out that one of the teeth on the clutch baskit broke off and got wedge which cuased it to lock up. Remove the the broken tooth and ran it the rest of the night with no problems. Probley not the best thing to do but it worked.

Any builder can get those things for you. Most builders have them all on stock.

Same here jim is a very good guy to deal with. Always has good answers for my questions. He has also helped me become faster on the drag strip. As for Jeff I couldent tell you to much about him never delt with him. Gettin ahold of Jim is pretty easy most of the time. More then likely he will answer, if not just leave a messange and he will call back.

I would go about 12 iches.

for a drag port Ihad them milled to 80-85 thous. so 30-35 thous seems about right to raise your compression a little bit.

Is the 688 cylinders a cheetah

I had about 5 gallons of mixed turbo blue left over from last winter and used it in the truck with no problems, but I did run it with about 10 gallons of regular gas. Maid the exhaust smell good :biggrin:
