very well said. I have ported my own cylinders and the outcome was pretty good. Before you go porting your own cylinders you need to find out what to port, how big to make them, and all the angles to make the ports are very important. Best way to learn is to do it yourself but before you do get info on what you are doing first

once put back togather it had spark but after I got it to fire a couple times it lost spark. I have completely rebuilt motors several times without anything like this happening.

I think its a 99 there is no spark at all

well I lost all spark now. but before that happed when I would go to hit the gas a little it rev way high and wouldent shut back down. the slides where not sticking becuase I could see that they werent

Ok I got it to fire.carbs are getting fuel but will only start if I put gas in the carbs. and only run for a min or 2 then shut off. cleaned all jets.

new crank and top end. dont know compression. has 20cc domes. dident do a leak down test. I does not even want to try to fire.

never thought i would ask a question like this. Just put my buddys shee togather just basic rebuild pretty much stock. It has good spark but will not fire?

Thanks I may not go if its one of the time things where you race yourself. not fun to me lol. Plus I think its the same day as the the race at the home track

hell I wish I could tell you. the timing system was way off that night. it was giving false times. Hell I had a slip that said I run 4.2 in 500ft. I guess the 10mill ran damn good that night for being my first race on it and with the new chassi and all. biggest problem I had was traction could not hook for shit.

Just thought I would share this. I won nationals top gas quad class on my passion racing 10mill cub. My last run for the win I had to run a 1200cc arctic cat triple sled motor. this is a 500ft track.

I have a set of GRR sb drag pipes 1 out each side in good shape except a dent in the bottom of the one. I asked andy if it would hurt performance and he said That it wouldent. I would like to trade for a set of sb out of frame cpi's or shearers... will post pics later... let me know Thanks
