Banshee Accidents, What Body Part Did You Break ?
stu replied to xt45's topic in General Banshee Discussion
i fell off my warrior 3 years ago and broke my shoulder and riped a hole in my leg. only minor cuts and briuses from the shee. was sliding round a corner and tried to get the back to step out a little more but it gripped and put me into a ditch, i went over the bars into a field. could have been prevented by riding the shee.... shee always spins instead of gripping!! stu -
uh.... i think you can guess mine!! i really should have come up with something better??! stu

Man I used to live around your neck of the woods. Near Swindon at RAF Fairford. Then I lived near Cambridge for about 3 years! Anyway i always wanted a 400cc crotch rocket over there, just because they were bad ass lookin bikes. Just like miniatures of the 600 and 750s! looked at a CBR400 and a ZX4R. Ducs are alot cheaper over there for you, i should have bought a 916 while i was over there! stupid me! combat.... RAF Fairford is only about 10 mins down the road from me, we go and watch the big air displays they have there each year. the little 400's do look good but when your comparing things to say the new cbr 600rr how can anything compare?? bikes now do look better than sex mate stu
-
im 18, living in england a ride a '89 cbr 400rr. shes small but f@!k it sticks round the twisties!!! when i can find the stupid amount of money needed id love to ride a 748, then up to the triumph daytona 955i. thise bikes look better than j-lo!! stu

stu replied to German Shepherd's topic in General Banshee Discussion
if your riding concrete i would think that a one pice leather suit is best like u wear when racin a road bike.... they are designed to slide along concrete stu -

i desperately need some new bleed nipples for the front callipers so i ordered 4 from my nearest shop, 2 spares! but ive got them now and they dont fit, the ones in the calipers now are much smaller than the ones i got from yamaha. i checked and the ones i got sent are the right ones for a banshee so im now stuck with 4 bleed screws that are too big for my callipers!!!! the calipers look stock, i know the rear caliper is a brembo unit but as i say the fronts look standard. did yamah make different callipers for older bikes or somethin and the guy who i bought my bike off put them on there???? my bikie is a 96 i believe. im pretty stuck with no bleed screws!! cheers stu
-
ive read up on jetting quite a bit. BenBB's jetting page has helped me enormously when i finally managed to read all 17 pages!!!! if u need help on jetting there is nothing that BenBB doesnt cover in that text. a perfect jetting resource..... cheers Ben im goin to order a couple more jets tomorrow when i get up and see how shee runs with them stu
