ya i have an ac skid plate too but i just noticed the last bar on the back of the frame is exposed. im thinking i might by a prm skid plate. in the pic they seem to cover more. does any one have one of these?

WHATS UP EVERYONE, I WAS WONDERING IF I COULD SEE SOME PICS OF EVERYONES SKID PLATES ON THERE BANSHEE/S. IM LOOKING FOR THE SKID PLATE THAT IS UNDER THE MOTOR, NOT THE SKID PLATE THAT PROTECTS THE CHAIN, DISC BRAKE. THE ONE THAT GOES IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BIKE PROTECTS THE FRAME. I JUST NOTICED MY SKID PLATE DOESNT PROTECT THE LAST MEMBER ON MY FRAME. THAT BAR IS EXPOSED AND I WANTED TO SEE IF ANYONE HAD ONE THAT PROTECTED EVERYTHING UNDER THE BIKE INCLUDEING THAT LAST RAIL ON THE FRAME. I RIDE SOME ROCKY AREAS AND WANT THE ULTIMATE PROTECTION. id recomend you buy a newer model and make sure its real clean no rust and no problems. make sure your totally happy with it. there are a ton a banshees out there. good luck and welcome to the hq.

exactly. thats probably why there was no hardware included with your nerf bars. i believe there is a bolt already in the frame at the connection point. i think you take the bolt out of the frame, put the nerf bar bracket on the inside of the frame and put the bolt you just removed back into the nerf bar bracket and then the bikes frame were it originally came out. ill be home in a couple of hours and ill check my bike again and snap some pics for you. Im not positive that this is the right way because i have not installed my nerf bars yet but when i lined my bars up it seems to work. good luck, Peter

I think your banshee looks great with them. on alot banshees i say cut them but i like how yours looks. also i cut mine and im now saying i wish i didnt. it sucks when you go through water or mud.

whats up buddy. i just bought a pair that look very similar to yours. that bracket goes on the inside of the frame on mine. The pic you posted has the bracket on the outside. so you will take that bracket on the nerf bar and put it down under the first frame rail and up between the middle. try that. it should eliminate that space because its now on the other side. did that make sense? let me know and if you need me to take some pics of mine for you i will. good luck

whats up all. I have acouple of scrapes on my frame i want to touch up. Some of them have alittle rust but nothing real bad. how do you all go about fixing these scarpes. I live in new england were the weather is always changing so i need to do it the right way once and end it. Do you sand the rust off lightly, then prime and then paint? what products work best? thanks in advance

I bought some clamps for my rockets from duner. There awsome. Look great and work great. Highly recomend buying duners clamps.

whats up everyone i have an aftermarket skid plate for my frame. the little arms that attach to the frame scratch my frame up pretty bad. any tricks to prevent this? or maybe any after market skid plates that have better set ups? thanks

i would imagine you would take the gril out and paint it seperatly so you dont miss any areas. it only takes a second to take the grill off. think i might paint mine. what colr should i go with, or should i leave it black?
