    swingarms

ya HAVOC -2 swingarm. the guys name is jeff and his screen name on this site is Blewbyu. i just bought a minus 2 off him and so far so good. ive only had it on my bike for a week but so far its great. the minus 2 really makes the front end feel alot lighter. also the price of HAVOC's swingarms is very reasonable.
  4. thanks jeff, ill be able to test ride the new swingarm you made next weekend, just need to get a new link. peter
  5. need to buy a master link for the shee. it still has the original chain. is there a certain type or size i need? thanks
  6. i have a carb off a banshee and im trying to figure out what size it is, what do i measure to get this? thanks
  7. going tomorrow if anyones int.
  8. im riding either sat or sun this weekend depending on weather. ill be riding the rockingham trail system. parking in derry.anyone want to go?
  9. hopefully everything works out. ill be sure to say a prayer for him.
  10. yes the banshee shock is 14.5 inches eye to eye. if you use 18 inch shocks there going to be compressed too much so your ride quality will not be very good. also if the shocks are off a predator you would have to get them revalved for a banshee, your weight and riding style. now if you installed yfz 450 a arms on your banshee then the shocks would work because this set up requires a longer shock length. hope this help peter
  11. my bro has one ill check it out the next time im near his bike. should be in a couple days peter
  12. almost forgot, do i take everything off the original swinger and add it to the new one before or after i install it? thanks

  14. for the most part the bike will not start. it seems like it will start every 500 th kick. when a stator dies is it completely dead or do they die slowly?
  15. ok i put in an adj timing plate on my bros bike. the directions i used didnt say anything about disconnecting the wires from the stator. will this cause a problem, if so how do we fix? thanks
  16. first, theres no spark second theres no power going to coil because i have the light switch on as i kick it and theres not evan a glipse of light. is it my stator? any help in what direction i should go is appreicated
  17. a guy who lives nearr me wants to buy my stock carb set up with tors. about 40 hrs on the set up, no problems in great condition. i dont need them any more because i run a 2 into 1. he asked me how much money for them but i have no idea what there worth? anybody know? thanks
  18. dajogejr, this all makes sense now. when i took the stock stator plate off and put on the adj stator plate i removed the little black box. when i put it back on i did not measure any gap so this hopefully is the problem. it also took a ton of kicks to get it started thats when i relized the kick starter came flying back at me. also when it did start it wasnt running properly could this all be related to the gap? thanks
  19. no, I dont evan know what that is or how to go about it? i do know the compression is high in this machine. can you help me out? thanks
  20. hows it going grinch havent talked to you in a while. ya the kick starter comes back hard ever since i advanced the timing. is your timing advanced? so its not going to hurt anything but my foot right? peter
  21. bro i always liked your banshee dont sell it. four strokes are nice but they do get booring. i almost sold my shee and im glad i got talked out of it. new bikes are cool for a couple years until they make a newer model, then your model looks old and the new one is better because it has improvements. thats why i love the banshee, they never changed so no matter what year you have there all pretty much the same. the only difference in banshees are the mods and anyone can mod there banshee how they want too. i dont know if this makes sense but dont sell it.
