  1. Scorch them with a welding torch! If you don't replace or paint them, not sure if there's another way. But I like the Sharpie comment to!....LOL
  2. MOTHER'S POLISH
  3. FORECAST: SUNNY AND 67 DEGREES!
  4. A casualty in your group?
  5. Heading out to Gordon's tomorrow, and then Glamis on Saturday. Hope to see you guys out there!
  6. I think you're right! and it was three kids that died in that Rhino accident in November of 07. http://www.yumasun.com/news/train_37911___...ase_struck.html
  7. :verymad: THAT BLOWS! Thanks for the info!
  8. I was planning on going to Gordon's, but now that I'm reading about a lot of you guys heading out there and the East Coasters to! I think I might change my plans now.
  9. Sounds like fun! It's just that the group I go with from Yuma don't make up their minds until the last freakin minute.
  10. I'm not even sure who's going with us, and if we're going to Gordon's or Glamis yet. But if everybody flakes out, I'll call you. I met up back in 07 for the Halloween ride. Don't know if you were there?
  11. Damn! I haven't been on this forum in a while! That's a clean A$$ Banshee man! That's really just a +4 swinger? it looks longer. What size of tires? I hope I can find someone that has the kit in stock. It figures something goes bad the week before heading out to the dunes. I guess it's better then the day of? Thanks.
  12. The fuel valve on my 01 Banshee leaks only when turned to the ON position. The fuel is leaking from the inside part of the valve.......the part that turns, not the outside perimiter. Could this just be a gasket problem, or the actual valve? Thanks.
  13. I prefer the Hauler paddles for all dune ridding. The straight paddles really get you up the steep dunes a whole lot faster. I have a set of Sand Sharks, but they're my extras incase something happens to my haulers....they just collect dust. The Sharks are 20x11x8 and work just fine with my setup.
  14. Perfect Friday and Saturday. But the wind did kick up a little Sat. afternoon.
  15. Love that Yellow/BLack! Let's see some more pics.
  16. Looking at your sig, sounds like you have a nice setup. Do you have any pics of your bike?
  17. Take em' all off!
  18. What size of swingarm is better for a dune bike with mild porting and a few other mods (+4 or +6). I like to dunes most of the time, and drag every once in a while at comp hill. What are the PROS and CONS of each?
  19. CUT EM!
  20. Yep! I've been running my Home Depot bulbs for two seasons now, and no problems. Some people told me that they wouldn't last......ha ha!
  21. 13/41 works great for me at the dunes. I wanted a little more bottom end.
  22. You have to go with Haulers. 9 paddle is a good choice. With those mods, a stock swingarm and haulers, you might be fighting to keep the front end down on occasion, so you should consider a +4 swingarm. Try it out first though.
  23. I didn't notice any difference with mine. Like someone said, you have to worry about the hoses rubbing up against it to.
  24. Cut'em off all the way!
  25. I've been to Pismo 5 times. If you're a good driver on the Sand, then you'll be OK with a 2wd. I've taken my Dad's 2wd inline 6 Ford with a camper shell 32" tires and small 4x8 trailer during high tide with no problem. Just make sure you know how to read the sand. I think Pismo can be more dangerous then Glamis when it comes to dunning. The reason is that there are no really big hills so when you're ridding it's hard to distinguish where the drop offs are, and believe me, there's a lot!. You get more hookup because the sand always has moisture, so get the hang of that first, and make sure when you find your camping spot if you go in at low tide, that you camp out far back enough or you'll be digging a trench, or worst, moving your camp site back more.
