  1. Many people retrofit boost bottles on ther Yamaha rd's (Old school air cooled ones) and claim that it does a world of good. However those early rd's never even had the crossover tube. I think the crossover tube helps alot but the boost bottle does little more than the crossover tube. YEIS was installed on many single cylinder yamaha yz's I don't think they put them on the newer yz's anymore. Must had been a gimmik of sorts.
  2. Grey water? What do you mean? When in doubt, Replace.
  3. Is that why Yamaha's web site says that 2006 is your last chance to get a new blaster? Also the very thought that they will stop importing parts after 2005 is just absurd.
  4. Thanks for the responses. I guess now I'm wondering if I'm too big for a blaster, even for a play around ride. I'm 5'8" and 210 lbs. Will I even fit on it? God I hope so, they look like alot of fun. I have only seen one up close and that was quite some time ago. Hey, sp1tekiller were you too tall or too heavy to be comfortable on your old one? If ya don't mind me asking.
  5. I've been thinking about getting a blaster for trail riding. I sometimes use a 93 warrior which I'm not happy with or proud of. I find myself wanting to ride my 82 250r 3 wheeler over the warrior just because I like the 2stroke powerband more. But the handleing is more tricky than the quad and I find myself getting into trouble on some trails. The warrior is just not for me, allthough it does ok for what it is. (a heavy underpowered boat anchor) My questions are, Does the blaster do good on tight trails? Hows the suspension? and Would you rather use a blaster or a warrior for just playing around on? Any thoughts or opinions on this would be helpful.
  6. You might want to wait a few years before you do that.
  7. Thats gotta add at least 100 hp. I can't really talk though, I used to have a homemade air cleaner made out of a coors can on my old ts400. I very young and very poor. Now I'm just very poor.
  8. http://www.fmft.net/archives/BBC_NEWS.htm I guess it's a hoax, but a part of me wishes it was real. ( No midgets were acctualy hurt in the making of this stupid post. ) I have no beef with little people, the story is just unbelievably stupid.
  9. Where do ya put the batteries? I mean that thing must be crankin out at least 3hp. Someone could get hurt on it. As far as the girl goes
  10. Reply to #1 What kind of pipes are you running? Edit: Oh pro circuit, I'm blind
  11. Let's get out the tape measure. Mine's longer.
  12. I'm not the guy who said that but, I have an 84 kxt250 that is mad fast out of the hole. I got beat on my shee by my brother on my tecate. Both have pipes and air cleaner mods. I'm not saying that the tecate could beat the shee in the long run but we drag 300' going up hill. I can't get traction on the shee as where the tecate realy hooks. (must be the tires) Gearing on the tecate is tight and it also has an advantage w/ a +2 swinger. My tecate has beat both a piped 250r and a stock 86 tecate three wheeler. Sounds like I'm bull shittin but realy I'm not. My tecate is a great trike but I love the shee more, Much more. I guess I'm just saying, Don't underestimate the power of the tecate, It may supprise you. I've concluded that both bikes are scary fast and I love them both. I'm sure that some of you guys shee's are quicker than mine. So this is just from my own experiences with these machines.
  13. Reply to # 1 It is normal to have play on your output shaft. All chain driven units have it. You have nothing to worry about. Now I'm gona go play w/ my output shaft. get it
  14. Sellouts!!! The way I hear it: "Four strokes are like tampons. Every pussy uses them." Sorry, but I'm passionate. Seriously, can you put a price on awsomeness, Those 4 jokers are what everybodys gona have in the future. I say hold on to the shee, It's the last of it's kind. our kids won't ever know what it means to be free and so on. Just kidding, (or am I)
  15. What an asshole! He should be shot and then ran over.
  16. I thought you could say it? When did this happen? Oh well, it's not the end of the world.
  17. Very intriguing concept, it helps to see it in motion.
  18. For trails, I probably would not go with more than a +2 or +3(which might be pushing it). If you do get a +4 let us know how it works for ya.
  19. Reply to #5 Man, I've been doin that for years now but my thumb still hurts when I ride. I need a twist throttle or I better get some practice. Still no good. *goes to buy a twist throttle system*
  20. Just when you think you seen it all, Someone goes and changes the rules. It looks great but was it needed?
  21. I was wondering that myself, I like the way a +4 looks. But I don't know how it handels. I put a +2 on my Tecate and it raely keeps the front end down. also, it didn't effect the steering too much.
  22. Damn that fucker is crazy sick. Any mention on what kinda seconds that puppy turns at the drags?
  23. Guild wars (free server) or Everquest 2 (monthly fee)
