  1. I'm pretty sure that just the 01 had the tranny problems. I remember when I wanted one and there was a whole thing about that. Some of the 01's have 02 trannys in them because people don't want theirs to screw up. Maybe I'm wrong, just my .02
  2. Its worth spending the extra $100 or $200 and getting a good pair. The cheaper kinds, sure they will work, and hey you might love them! But odds are they will wear faster, maybe a buckle will break on them or they will give you blisters. I bought Fox Trackers, they are definetely not "top of the line" but they are a pretty decent boot and I really like the fit and feel. Go to a store where they sell boots and try on a bunch of them. See if they sell the "Look" boots your looking for and compare them. Judging by your picture... you may need some good ones haha jk Just my .02
  3. I wouldn't buy the red ones, they're not that great. If I were you I'd buy the black ones, they give you all around power! And make your gas mileage better! As for replacing them, I've never done it. Maybe someone else can tell? I'd like to know also.
  4. Port Alberni BC, on Vancouver Island
  5. Hey, I am running 290's right now at about 200ft above sea level, with fatty pipes and a K&N. How much smaller should I go if I install V-Force 3's? Or could I just change my needle setting. The Pilot jet is 27.5 I believe. Thanks Darren
  6. Do you have a friend with a banshee? Just put his stator in yours and see if it makes a difference.
  7. Ohhh ok. Thanks a lot guys! Will that slider last longer than the roller?
  8. Where does the chain slider go? I thought it was down somewhere by the skid plate... how would that help my situation?
  9. The chain roller that goes around the swing arm, I think its the middle one, its pretty thrashed on my quad, it doesn't even spin well. What makes them spin? are they on a bearing or what? And I guess if I don't replace it, it will wreck my swing arm. It is an 06, and there is already holes worn in it. thanks
  10. Hey I know that when you do a compression test, it is supposed to be cold and WOT. Will it still be accurate if it is warmed up? Thanks Darren
  11. My friend decided it would be "Cool" to tie about 200 ft of fishing line around his cat, so that he could follow it wherever it went... He hasn't seen the cat since! hahahaha :baseball_w00t:
  12. What kind of riding do you do wallrat? Would it be good in wet conditions too? And how is it mounted?

  15. Hey I was just wondering how much to shave off of my clutch/parking brake on the handlebars. Anyone have any pictures to give me an idea? Thanks Darren
  16. I've got bearclaws 22x12x9, they were awesome and they last a long time, but the only thing I miss is the 'snap' when you hit the throttle because they are so heavy. They are a very tough and stiff! They are awesome in the snow and mud. But I think that my next set of tires is going to be razr 2s.
  17. Hey, I live on Vancouver Island, in Port Alberni. There are more banshees in this hick town... than hicks.

  19. I think his tree house was in the "Stupid" tree, and he hit EVERY branch on the way down. :baseball_bat:

  21. Oh ok I get it, thanks everyone. But what is that going to do to my fuel consumption?
  22. Wait a sec, I am suppose to lean it out? Maybe I'm just reading it wrong, but drop the main jet size as in a smaller jet? I thought your supposed to put in a bigger jet. :baseball_wassat:
