  1. would there be any gain since i have a mild port and polish?
  2. since i use pod filters for the summer and airbox for the winter when i go to drill the holes for them where is the best spot? anyone got a picture or can explain?
  3. a mechanic told me it would be more hassle to have them? also he said they are made for 4 strokes. Should i not put them on my banshee?
  4. now if i buy the cfm can i just use my old kand n clamp ons on it it says to buy their pair of k and ns for 75 bucks they say the part number is K&N part number RD-0700. is that the same as my kand n clamp ons?

  7. now ive got the manuel but for some reason it doesnt say. ok so lets say youve got the slide, you drop the needle in, then you put the slide back in the carb, you put the 2 tiny screws in to hold that thing that holds the throttle cable, that thing either covers the hole on the slide or it doesnt does anyone understand?
  8. when u take off the carb tops and there is that hole in the carbwhich can be covered up by the needle set is it supposed to be covered up or open cause i thought it had to be open i have it closed right now and i think thats why it wont start? anyone know?
  9. he meant the carb slides bruh. still isnt starting though because they werent in wrong my dad talked to the guys dad and he said take the flywheel off and check it.

  11. yea thats what im talkin about, but my friend that has a banshee said that he had the same problem as me, and he said that the carb seats arent in their correctly, he said they only go in one way .

  13. yea the choke tube is on my needles do not line up with the holes in the carb when u slide it into it. Im guessing my needles arent seated correctly which is causing it not to start am i right?

  15. the circles arent at wide open throttle how do i adjsut it so it is. I have the tors removed? they arent a wot but they are in the glass at the same time right before wot

  19. yea i got a new oring but the old one had no signs of wear, also my slides i checked they arent in backwards, i mean i have gotten it to start before it runs awesome it jsut takes like 39 to 49 kicks and its all brand new engine parts its crazy. I can never get it to pul start when i do it just goes right like its ready to start it goes bruh and then it just sounds like it gets flooded and never actually starts

  21. i noticed since my bike wont start from ground up rebiuld and im getting fuel spark a nd everything is right, that my choke puller leaks gas which must be causing an air leak which is making it not start. I kick kick kick kick nothing. Then i look ast the choke and a small amount of gas is coming out please what should i do i just want this to start!

  23. well im thinking its my choke assembly because it doesnt stay out at all you have to hold it out im thinking their are o rings missing, well im sure they are. So is that my problem you think. I mean it has to be something either with my carbs or the reeds right?
  24. well i tried push starting it with my friend and it goes like its about to start but doesnt, have brand new top end in fact whole motor torn down crank replaced everything new seals i mean everything., but ususally the kickstarter kicks with full compression when you kick down, you guys know what i mean like there is pressure felt all the way thorugh the kick? But with me its like you go halfway down then you can feel it kick over. now i jsut cleaned the carbs totally out. I get it to start if i use a towel or my hand to cover the intake. You can put gas directly into the head and it will start momentarily though. my choke has been out when i do this, but you have to hold it out. maybe a oring is missing anf its causing an air leak, I will buy a new choke assembly for 40.00 could that be it. Or is my kickstarter in wrong since it kicks from halfway down, or is it my reeds? Please guys someone must have had a problem similiar to this. Also there is plenty of spark, Im really leaning towards the kickstart is in wrong but how could it be in wrong? Once warmed up it will stop and start first kick. This is totally wierd. How do you get it to kick over with full pressure?
  25. ok rebuilt the whole engine, got a problem, first the kickstarter kicks from halfway down and then it feels like it has compression, but it used to kick from all the way to the top to the bottom, but mine goes u kick and you dont feel anything till your about halfway down then it kicks like its supposed too, is something wrong here? also to kick the beast over u have to take the filter off and plug the hole for the intake with a towel and after like 5 or 6 kicks it fires, what the heck is that all about, but once you did that u can turn it off and then back on and ti kicks first kick. also both carbs completely cleaned out , but the choke side carb spills gas out and the right side doesnt. what does that mean? any help is much appreciated. One more thing we think there could be a possible air leak on the choke puller because it doesnt stay out anymore u have to pull it and hold it for it to work? should i just buy a whole new choke thing its only 40 dollars.
