  1. Make it an automatic while you're at it. Maybe a windshield too!
  2. Take trash bags and use them
  3. I used my stock couplers on my T5s. I got some radiator clamps to use instead of the stock clamps that suck. But the stock black couplers actually are 10x nicer than the green hose that Toomey sends you.
  4. A hacksaw works really well too. Especially for straight lines.
  5. I think 450s with carbs will be prefered before too long. These new 4 strokes have endless problems. EFI is just one more expensive, complicated thing to break down.
  6. Lose the nerfs, grill, tail light cover, stickers and rear skidplate. Paint the front bumper black. Get a black grill. Some fat bars would be nice.
  7. Sell your Banshee and buy a 450r.
  8. Anything over +4 MUST have a new or rebuilt shock. At 245, you shoulda got a new shock before the wheelie bar and the swinger. Rebuild with new spring is only $200 or so.
  9. I know a few group from down here in the Southwest that make the trip because it's so sweet there. Don't forget to rejet for the altitude. If you're at a different level that is.
  10. Out here in CA, people can't give Banshees away. Another board I'm on has had a few kick ass banshee's that are down to the 3k level. That's with suspension and lots of other mods. Although, summer is a bad time for sellers out there.
  11. I used to leak coolant on my '02. I kept filling the resevoir up to full. Finally someone told me to keep it at minimum. That fixed the problem IMMEDIATELY. I eventually removed the resevoir completely. I removed the res on my '06 the day I bought it. Neither bike has leaked coolant since. Neither bike has overheated. Neither bike has needed addition coolant in the radiator.
  12. Cool. Do us Glamis riders a favor and DON'T promote the bullshit partying and "extreme" crap that occurs there.
  13. Please don't try and bolt these lights up with a stock stator. I rode with a dude last summer who had a big set of PIAAs on a stock stator. He swore they were fuckin awesome. They spat out a dingy yellow glow. That was it. Pretty patheitc. Bigger lights like that should have some kind of crossbeam or frame.
  14. Used to be a track at Cajon Speedway. that's closed. Elsinore, Hesparia and a few other Riverside towns have them. Though they aren't always friendly to quads. Especially now all the rich assholes are cruising their faggot Rhinos on the tracks.
  15. My '02 about 3 years ago. Today
  16. Tag makes a "Banshee Bend". That is the tallest bar they make.
  17. stock carrier i assume?
  18. Finding a subframe isn't the problem. Attatching to your frame is. Lonestar has a detatchable subframe but you'll need to fab brackets onto the frame to put it on. You can cut a sub off a stock frame but you'll want a pro welder to put it on. That would be a really bad day if your riding and the rear falls off. Might want to think about bending it back a abit and liove with it for a while.
  19. This sounds very odd. You sure it's not coolant leaking out from the overflow? If your gas tank is pumping gas up and out, I don't think billet or aftermarket is going to fix that problem.
  20. Sticers are never good. And a $318 sticker is just crazy. A better gift for the same or less $$: 1 1/8" bars with clamp Steering stem IMS pegs Desert Tank ASV levers Set of paddles/tires several cases of 2 stroke oil new helmet new boots In my opinion, that much money for stickers is nuts.
  21. That was mean. Now I'm sad. I like it. Take the seat off and the whole bike is exposed. Less is more. Hell, you can tinker on the carb without removing ANYTHING!
  22. get rid of them altogether.
  23. Dontcha love it?! It's such an improvement. Looks good.
  24. SSTs have to go to SST silencers.
  25. Didn't think of the parking brake thing. Happened to me once before I knew about it. i thought my Shee was broke! That would make it run like an absolute piece of shit. Sometimes it's stuck, sometimes just having dsome sand or grit in the handlebar assembly can junk it up. In my case, I just blew out some sand.
