  3. I also think that an empty bowl allows the film of gas left to evaporate which leaves behind the oil to dry and get gummy. A full bowl will have less chance to evaporate. Same as when you store a car or a boat, store it with a full tank of fuel. Less evaporation and less condensation in the tank. I never drain any of my bowls. I never have an issue with my carbs. I clean my ally carbs often but they never sit with methanol in them for long periods. I purge after every use and they sit with gas in them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  6. No no no. You can switch the fuel off if you want. I only switch mine off while trailering. But do not run the bowls dry. And starve it for fuel. Your engine lubrication is in your fuel. If one carb goes dry first the motor will run on one cylinder and the second cylinder runs without lubrication until the other carb runs dry. You will scar the cylinders little by little each time you do this. The carbs may need to be cleaned periodically but this is routine maintenance. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Yep, like Brandon said. Start somewhere in the middle of the circuit and you can divide the system in half and you'll know which direction to focus your efforts. Divide a problem in half 3 times, and your usually pretty close to the cause of the problem. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  11. I don't notice a difference. If you think about it, the lockup applies pressure to your plates in addition to the spring tension. When you pull the clutch in you press the clutch shaft against the pressure plate and have to force the levers at the same time. The levers are rotating faster at high RPMs and thus providing more leverage. I rarely use the clutch while riding though. Only starting and stopping. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  15. I don't think running a lockup clutch or not is going to affect shifting. However, the higher hp motor will make shifting difficult. I prefer a dunable override in my trail bike, but I have ridden both and still have one bike with a pro mod type trans that I cut years ago. Easy to do with the right tools but time consuming.   16. Yes, Brently Gorman is Dunetoyz. Mine 4m stock cyl on pump gas made 78 hp on the dyno at little Sahara years ago. It was ported by HJR and runs pretty darn good for what it is. I put the lock up in it when I had problems holding the clutch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  19. Most domes have info scribed on the side. Otherwise you have to put a sparkplug in it and fill it with water and put a flat plate across the top. Must be completely full. And measure the volume. Needles have different tapers that change the amount of fuel flow. They are designated by a 3 letter combination. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  22. It is all personal preference. I have a 1-5 ND in my duner and love it. 2-5 ND in my drag bike. Another duner that I modified similar to pro mod and has N between 1st and 2nd and prefer my ND duner. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  25. Cut the old subframe off and purchase a weld on replacement or weld on tabs/mounts and get a bolt on replacement. Unless there is more bent then we can tell. I mean, you didn't give us much to go on here. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
