Yes, it has been said that 1-3 turns is the working limits of the pilot jet. Anymore or any less they should be changed. I have ran them at 1/2 turn out for years on stock carbs with no problems but prolly should have richened the pilot.

There is an ATV shop in Kearney, Nebraska that has a nice collection of 3 wheelers , i beleive about every one that was made. I dont think they have much for 4 wheelers though only about 3 or 4. I will check with my buddy as he went to it last year.

Josh, i would say go up prolly 2 sizes if your running it hard like that in 30 degree weather. Looks real close for 80-90 degree though. When you say jab it to 1/2 throttle or so and it bogs might try turning the air screws in richer a 1/2 turn and see if that helps. Does it start good cold?

The little nipples/dowels line up with small cutouts/slots toward the FRONT of your bottom cases. If not installed toward the front and in those cutouts they could cause damage. The O-ring style bearings dont have nipples usually and use the o-rings to keep the bearings from spinning. I usually put both outer bearings with the groove/slot facing the clutch side. A TIP: is to add extra circlip to the PTO/clutch side bearing or go Max load or TZ bearing to give it extra strength and insurance from breaking. Call if you need any help with install!

If you arent having trouble with punctures with your ultralights then the Brats wont be a problem either. BUT if your running in deeper rutted sand with tree roots and such then the shorter Brats may not be the ticket for you. In those deep ruts the taller profile of the Haulers keep you up out of harms way and from getting high centered.

Red, You bought Mike's bike didnt you ? I was told that was a 350 on alky...?? I would ask whoever built the motor as that is usually the best route. Not sure about the dial jets style boosters but i have heard of guys running anywhere from .101-.130 all dependent on needle and setup. Does it run close now? Need to know more about your setup... is it stock cyl. or cub etc.?

Yes most O Riellys , Advanced auto, etc. and can order from Summit Racing also. I think most people use Zip ties on the heat shield wraps to keep most of the debris out.

Sounds like your shift shaft spring or eccentric stud is broke/missing. You will need to take the clutch cover off and pull the clutch basket off. Then you can access your shift shaft and other shifting components. Sounds like it is a fairly easy fix where you wont have to teardown the whole engine. I will be glad to walk you through it and tell you what your looking for if you want to give me a call.
