theres some awesome MX banshees in here..

well thats the thing, it doesnt always leak after i let it sit sfter i stop the engine, but it always leaks when i ride... ima go ahead and inspects the float needles and base screws....and see what i find..

a couple pics: leaking from the bottom hoses..as you can see...

hahaha...you guys crack me up..me and my stock carbs :biggrin: damn, i was gonna take some pics last nite too..i should have! But yeah, theres a total of four hoses coming out of the stockers, two small hoses dumping on to the crank case if they were to leak(which are not leaking), then theres the other two hoses coming out from either carb from the bottom of the carbs, those hoses route back down towards the swing arm... I think dajogejr nailed it, ima do what he mentioned, taken them apart and cleaning and reseating that screw.. then go from there... im going to snap some pics asap...for you guys to see what im talking about.... i really appreciate everyones help :beer:

its coming from the tubes connected to the bottom of the carbs going down.. not from the little upper hoses... since fuel is covering my right rear portion of my axle and right side of my shock linkage.. so do i adjust the floats still? it shows in the clymers how to adjust them right? or should i just get a rebuild kit and fix the float needles? just seems odd, because its done it since it was new.. edit: btw: banshe-man, i have stock pilots..

I've always thought it was normal for my shee to leak fuel while im riding..its done it since I took it off the show room floor in 05..is this normal?? Sometimes it'll leak after i ride, i just tap on either carb and it stops..so i usually just turn the fuel off after every ride.. floats bad maybe? or need to be adjusted? I've done all jetting etc myself after every mod...it runs perfect...it just leaks fuel all over the right side of the axle after every ride...i cant tell if its alot..im sure it isnt since i get a pretty good amount of ride time after each tank..mods are in my sig TIA guys..

remove tires from wheels and clean those beads like Snopczynski said! :cool:

halloween weekend eh, i wanted to go that weekend but i have a wedding to attend ..we'll probably head out ina couple weeks again..19-21

You mean how nice was it?, honestly it was perfect.. it felt like 85 the whole weekend, actually friday felt more like 75 with the wind, but sat felt like 85 today felt the same..it honestly felt hotter here in SD when i got back.. it was perfect weather..

damn i just missed you...got back earlier today..got there thursday nite..slight sand storm all friday beautiful sat and today... this is how it was all weekend in the dunes EMPTY..Beautiful....No crowd at all..

yah its a plain yfz raptor, i guess im comparing them to my elkas's.. no comparison lol...

I duned my dads 06 700 raptor earlier today in glamis, (had no more gas in the shee and no more in my 5 gal tank, and didnt feel like mixing any more from my friends gas) so i took it out...damn compared to my shee from all weekend of riding the shee, i had no close calls of falling or any problems jumping, as soon as i hit the first dune on the 700 it wanted to buck me off... the suspension on that thing sucks ass. imo...its hella top heavy too...riding from the wash past olds i hit alittle tree burm and it bucked me off after a not so perfect landing lol..breaking the light clean off...I dont know maybe its just me but that thing definetly needs some better suspension from factory (i know they upgraded on the 07's)...and more top end too...for having twice the displacment as the shee, im not impressed at all...we need to make some adjustments :biggrin:

something about having a suzuki engine ina yami, doesnt seem right to me ..i would def buy a banshee with a R6 engine tho..

your gonna love them! i have plain ole recreational shocks and i love them...one of the biggest and best improvment to do on our old quads... btw, motocross shocks come with piggy back res's good luck with the install..Post pics when your done :thumbsup:
