just wanted to say that building my first and his friend who got the banshee are real good guys to do business with. wouldn't hesitate for a minute to purchase anything off them, and they know what they're talking about when it comes to these quads. i'm glad they were happy with what they got and i'm glad i got the room back in my garage. thanks again, guys. -

SOLD to Building my First. thanks to everyone interested and all the quick replies. -
exactly like it says. bought disassembled a few years back to give me something to do while off work after surgery. never got it back together and haven't touched it for well over a year now. converting the shop where it's taking up space into a home gym and would like it gone. have right around $1800 invested as it sits. less than $300 would have it put back together and running. many aftermarket and extra parts. could easily part out if wanted and make money. can answer any questions and send pics. email [email protected] i need to get rid of asap, i'm going this weekend to pick up the weight equipment. first $700 in my hand can load it up and take it away.

i've got an '01 Banshee that i bought off my cousin two years ago. the bike was in pieces then, and is still somewhat in pieces. i've got about $1800 into the bike as it sits but i would like to purchase a car and the bike must go immediately. i need to have it sold asap as the guy will only hold the car for 10 days. the only thing missing from the bike that i know of are pistons and a matching bore job. it would cost me $250 to have this put back together but the only place i used to ride was sold last summer so i have no place to ride and no longer need a quad and i really want this car. i will not refuse any reasonable offer. trust me when i say that i WILL ACCEPT ANY REASONABLE OFFER ON THIS BIKE. i can get any pics requested but it may take me a few days. i live in hicksville, ohio and will be going near the dayton, ohio area to get the car and can deliver anywhere within reason. again, NO REASONABLE OFFER REFUSED. [email protected] if you want pics thanks in advance, caleb

i think my idea of in pieces may be a little different than most. the frame and roughly 90% of the suspension i have already put back together. the engine is together except for the pistons and jugs. the plastic, gas tank, seat and other misc. items are not back on the bike yet. when i got the bike it was literally in pieces. not a nut or bolt was attached to the frame due to the powdercoating. anyways, i may decide to part the bike out if i can't sell it whole. i really need to get rid of this bike because i have a guy ready to paint my TA for a really good price if i can get it to him soon. anyone interested in parts email me at [email protected] and let me know what you need and give me a week to see if i can sell the bike whole. if not i'll start parting it out. thanks, caleb

I'm thinking of selling my Banshee in order to keep on working on restoring my 1979 Pontiac Trans Am. I would love to be able to keep both and just keep plugging away like I've been doing, but like most everybody else I'm starting to feel the financial pinch of the economy and extra money is getting hard to come by in my household. What I have is a 2001 Banshee that is literally in pieces. I bought this from my cousin when he was hard up for money for $1000. Since then I have put almost $700 into it. That includes having one of the jugs resleeved and the other bored, and having both jugs ports cleaned up. This alone cost well over $300 and was done professionally. I can dig up the receipt if need be. I have also purchased several parts that my cousin told me he had but did not (headlights, kick lever, thumb throttle, matching brake and clutch levers....etc). The frame was powdercoated red shortly before I got it and looks pretty good. It also has yellow ceet plastic, two set of tires (1 set are holeshot), fmf fatty pipes, and a few other aftermarket parts i can't recall right now. the only thing i know of that is missing are pistons. the reason being because of the setup. currently it has aftermarket racing long rods installed. the current bore on the jugs is 44.75mm. i haven't decided yet if i was going to go with long rod pistons and move the bore up to 65mm or keep the bore the same and go back to stock connecting rods and wiseco pistons. i will also give whoever buys the bike all the extra misc. parts that i have for the bike which is numerous. i was given boxes and boxes of parts and pieces and i know for a fact that even after the bike is put back together there will still be a ton of extra parts left. this gives the buyer the added option of selling the extra stuff or putting it away for any future mishaps. i probably won't take less than the initial $1000 i have into it and i'm looking for cash to put into my TA so i'm not interested in trades either. i welcome any private message letting me know if my price is way off in any way. i am by no means an expert on banshees and a lot of you know way more than i do so any help would be appreciated.

Looking for a non running but complete banshee to rebuild so that my daughter can go riding with me. i've got more than enough extra parts laying around from the rebuild of my banshee to rebuild another one. I live in ohio and would be willing to drive within a few hours of my house. looking for any year but has to be complete for as little as possible. anyone have anything or know of anyone looking to get rid of their blown banshee or one that's already in pieces send pics and any info with price included and location so i can mapquest it. [email protected] thanks, caleb

have a pair of 64.75mm jugs that have not been installed since they were professionally worked last summer. discovered my bike is a stock stroke/ long rod setup and need a certain set of pistons that don't come in 64.75mm size so i'll have to go one size up. i'm just looking for an even up trade and i will pay all shipping prices. just thought i'd take this route first and see if anyone wanted to do any trading since i don't have the extra cash i had last summer because of my place of employment seeing tough times like so many others. so if anyone can help out i'd love to have my bike up and running for summer, i just don't have the money to dump into her. thank you in advance, caleb mcalexander

Selling a brand new pair of WiseCo 64.75mm pistons. Bought these a few months back and installed them on my bike to find out it is a stock crank long rod setup. Were on my bike a total of two days before I took them back off and packed them back in the boxes. And the engine never left my workbench. Looking to buy a set of WiseCo 795 series pistons and would like to sell these first to pay for those. $120/OBO thanks, caleb
