  3. If wild card is setting it up I would ask him what pipes would work best with the dome design it has and the port work done to them... I have always had good luck with wcr trannys... Go with 39 pwks or 40mm lectrons, fast clutch, billet basket, stock pressure plate and hub, direct drive lock up. This isn't cfhs old motor is it?
  4. Try a 4 mill cub on Alky with an over ride that was a handful in the trails!
  5. i built mine out of plywood and 2x4s... then i strapped it down to the tie down hooks in the bed. also added eyelets to the deck so ya can tie the quads down

  7. They are close 10mill.... The stinger dia and the flanges are bigger on the dm pipes. Yes ctown I have the 48 or 49mm flanges not the 53mm ones that are on some of the bigger dm's
  8. looking to trade a set of two out the left silenced big bore small flange chrome shearers for a set of shearers that will work on my 10 dm i just bought.... prefer chrome out one side and silenced but will entertain offers for others also..... let me know what you have thanks! not interested in selling the pipes outright at the moment so please dont ask.
  9. Have to checked to see if the needles are in the same position? Air screws clean and same spot? Reeds in good shape? I wouldn't run a gasket and a cool head... If you wanna loosen squish up and lower compression get a thicker base gasket or have domes cut... I would deff gut the carbs and look them over real close... Could be sucking the bowls dry also... Make sure vent on tank is clear and working also there's a screen on the petcock... Check to see if its clean... With it passing leak down I would say you have a fuel delivery issue...
  10. I step tq it as mentioned above to 20-22 ft lbs and I tq it in the same pattern as the stock head... If you have a stock head laying around the pattern is written on it... It's numbered 1-10
  11. I won't be going to St. John's if they plan on running that let down snowmo in the heads up class... Just like donating my money to the snowmo guys when ya bracket race at the other tracks
  12. I plan on hitting the dunes memorial 4th of July and Labor Day, the hq ride and the Atv event at wmsd. That's all I can think of for now

  15. porting, bigger carbs, higher compression, (domes cool head) more timing, race gas, end cut trans so it will shift.

  17. did you find the little pin that holds the water pump gear on the water pump shaft? may have fallen out and got ground up in the tranny gears... if not sounds like others have mentioned... probably welded a gear to the shaft....

  19. been using jeffs clutches for years! they last a long time and take one heck of a beating!
  20. Pump the peddle a few times then crack the banjo bolt at the ressy... When ya start getting fluid there move onto bleeding the system from the banjo bolt at the caliper... When ya start getting a peddle move onto bleeding the system at the bleeder port at the caliper... Fastest and easiest way I have found to bleed rear brakes on a banshee
