  1. id go with FMF gnarly's and 2-1 carb setup forget about the head and timing advance for now.
  2. (This bike has already easily out ran 660 Raptors that were built) Wow not the greatest achievement ever but its not that hard to believe.
  3. 87 and 98 sprocket hubs are not the same. 87 has fours bolts that holds the sprocket while 98 has 6. But they both fit on any year banshee. I have an 87 sprocket hub on my bike because i can put smaller sprockets on it. It will fit on your bike but you will have to use 98 sprockets thats all.
  4. they wont rub i have a -3 swingarm with nerf bars and it doesnt rub.
  5. yeah thats funny I had a sled that did thats, i had fooled around with the timing and the engine started up on the wrong side. I can tell you when i cranked it the rope went back in faster than it came out and the handle broke a flew around 50 feet
  6. was it taking coolant ? because i dont think not re-torquing the head would burn an engine.
  7. I love it makes your motor snap alot more power comes right away. I dont think i lost top end (1 carb that works all the time = two carbs that work half the time.
  8. your mains are way too big i think thats why it would bog , make sure your needle is at cetenr clip and i would try a smaller main like 160. pilots should be around 50 .
  9. trinity cv single pwk 33 carb or 2 pwk 28s
  10. it holds with rivets you have to grind them off to get the basket separeted from the gear the the new one should hold with allen bolts clued in locktite.
  11. use a-arms made for stock shocks a-arms for longer shock(longtravel arms) and built for longer shocks than yfz janssen uses 19 inch and roll 18 inch while yfz shock are only 15 3/4 inch long i think. your bike will be too low and the geometry will be all screwed up . Stock lenght shock a arms are not made to handle yfz shocks but will be better than lontravel arms using yfz shocks. i dont like yfz shocks there not made to go there and wear out balljoints fast.
  12. the 5.5 is ugly + you have to cut your fenders 4 is the best
  13. i think maybe your there is too much compression and timing advance this would melt pistons what fuel are you using?
  14. it depends ,you will have longer shifts , some say you will loose torque but since you have the woods port it might not show that much . i run 15 38 for mx and seems to have more torque than stock because stock just spins everywhere. It also depends on what kind of tires you have.
  15. i had pwk 28 and they were pretty good but i just love the single carb setup with on pj 34 just so much more torque and just as much high rev .
  16. its ok but i use a blaster shift wheel its alot cheaper than shift pro and works fine. some people grind the shift star also.
  17. the easiest solution is just screw the limiter on the tumb throthle to the end and nothing should happen they probably wont notice
  18. at least weld it with a mig ! stick weld
  19. i use 1 inch lowered pegs i made of alloy and raptor Ac nerfs i guess you could cut your pegs and weld them lower it would be less trouble than fittting blaster pegs
  20. kenda gnarlys or klaws are good tough tires
  21. i bought an alba polished grilll and i just seems like it make the bike run alot hotter doesnt seem to have enough holes for air to go in but lots off people have them so they cant be that bad? whats your comment on this ?
  22. i think banshees are pretty hard to beat . around here at the drags theres people who fit these 200hp snowmobile engines , road bike engines and they still get smoked by alchool banshees, but i think turbo quads will be the closest thing that willl come to a threat to banshees.
  23. do you have an rz engine or some other kit.
  24. :yankyank: what a waste of my precious time!!!!
  25. dont forget me ! Free rocket pipes rules!!
