  1. Yeah,if you have the clamp on K&N's then you should be able to go richer.I think with the banshee my wife had,we had 350 jets and toomey needles. Her's had T-5's.That was a good running banshee considering it had not been ported. I've got a set of RDZ ported cylinders for sell. It isn't a drag port but a big improvement over stock. Porting is where the power is at.
  2. Do you you want the front end to always stay down? Are you going to use a wheelie bar? Mine should dyno around 90-95.I have a +10 swingarm and +3 forward a-arms. It doesn't wheelie so far.Even with my slicks at the drag strip it stayed down. Tires become a big issue though when I go to the sand. Just need more paddles than if I had a shorter swingarm.
  3. Yeah, ask anyone that knows me.They would have laughed if you told them I lost interest. I guess it's like I've heard about people that have had car wrecks. They say it's best to get back into a car soon. This was the first wreck that I actually got hurt in.It might sound like I'm a cry baby because I know that there is people that have had alot worse wrecks.I guess we all take it differently. Hope to possibly get it out this coming weekend.Probably won't drag race alot just take it to the nearby creek and throw a little sand. This was the first time I got it out when I finished the winter rebuild.Good times. The first race I had was against a polaris outlaw.I give the guy alot of credit for getting out there. Yes,yes,I won.Duh.LOL!
  4. Cool pictures.I've got to get mine going again.
  5. Happy birthday.
  6. I finally got back out to the shop and started putting the banshee back together. I had almost no interest in putting it back together after the wreck. It was nice to get back out there and do some work on it.Hope to ride it soon. Losing interest in it was something I thought would "never" happen. We'll see how it goes when I'm throwing sand at the 4 strokes again.LOL!
  7. My alcohol stock cylinder(F.A.S.T) 350 has no problem pulling the 1/8th mile.Plenty of power when I cross the finishline.I run an 18/38 gearing. There is some very fast 4 mils out there.
  8. I'd say just let it go.Don't make payments.Who's to say you won't get to the last payment and she'll sell it to someone else.Probably be better to just break off all ties to her. Things will get better.
  9. :baseball_wibble: ok.LOL!
  10. I'm still trying to install it. I have all the parts now to get it going.I've lost interest in the banshee since the wreck. I'll get it back together sooner or later.I was hardcore into racing before.Weird how things change. I've even thought about selling it.Not sure yet. Thanks for the happy birthday wishes guys.
  11. My dodge has the plastic storage behind the seat. The upper bins just pop out and the bottom one come out by taking out 3 screws.Plenty of room then. Birthday present. That's what I'm thinking.
  12. I'm going tomorrow to get a cd player, amp, and 10" sony Xplodes installed in my truck. I figure you guys may prefer other brands, but we use to have these in my wife's car she had.I like them. Can't wait.Sure will be a big improvement considering my truck has the stock speakers and stock cassette player. :baseball_sleep:
  13. A friend of mine had a banshee with pro-curcuits and it run real good. Once you get the pods and jet it richer,it should run away from the raptor. I've always had good luck with toomey needles.Maybe something to consider. I'd use the longer needle and jet it richer.
  14. Looks like I'm not going to make it. Got alot of things I'm going to need to spend my trip money on. :baseball_wibble: Maybe next year.
  15. I've seen some that run pretty good.If he hangs any where close to ya during your race,he must have "alot" more than just a pipe.
  16. Good guy to deal with.Thanks.
  17. My friend Michael has a banshee with a F.A.S.T. play/dune port,CPI inframes,Trinity head,stock stroke,and stock carbs. He smokes piped 450's.He's even outrunning 450's with big bores,porting,different cams,etc... Porting a banshee makes a huge difference.
  18. The 4 mils are putting out some very impressive #'s. How much horsepower are you looking for?
  19. The words "killer port job" concerns me. Anyone can go in and make a big hole. Who done it?If the person that done the port job didn't know what he was doing then I'd say just get a cub. There's alot of people that can make the cubs really fast.
  20. I sold some fenders,hood,etc... to one of my friends for his banshee. The plastic looked pretty rough and faded. He used some of this plastic renew on it and the results were amazing.I wouldn't have believed this stuff would work this good but I saw how bad they was before.
  21. A little 14?Sounds big to me. I just have a stocker.
  22. Looks like several people in our group are backing out. They might all back out. Not sure if I'll make it or not.I can't afford the gas out there by myself. I'm just a poor boy with a racing addicition.
  23. I really like the YFZ.That silencer is huge.Bet it's got a loud bark.
  24. 5.80.That's flying. Was that your banshee? Now we know who has all the money.LOL!
