  1. I need both stock tie-rods,right spindle, and a rotor for a spindle mount rim. Please PM me if you have any of these.
  2. Very impressive.
  3. If you're like me and probably the rest of us,the build is the fun part. Although,I could have saved thousands by buying one already built. You need to decide if you want a "drag only" quad or a fast quad you can still ride around on. Drag quads are not for everybody. They can be very expensive. Also, are your riding skills good enough for what you want. Let's say you're use to a piped banshee, amd you want to build a 10 mil. That is a huge step up in performance. You might get yourself hurt if you're not careful.Take time and get use to it. In drag racing, lighter is better.Horsepower is great but make sure the banshee can handle it. Drag a-arms,lighter swingarm, marvin shaws,etc...are wonderful but can be expensive. Setting a budget is important but I have no business telling ya that.I spent alot more this last build than I had planned.LOL! Will you be racing dirt, sand,or asphault. In all of these, having the right tire and the right gearing makes a "huge" difference. Not having these right and vary depending on the track can make you lose races you should have won.
  4. Which track in Missouri do you race at?After I get mine back together,I might bring it. What day do they race on?If I have a mustang by then,I might bring it.
  5. You might want to consider a small back rest kinda like wicked racing sells.Wish I had one. I actually got pulled off of mine. That's bad. Those little hoosier slicks hook like crazy.Mine will go 6's if I can figure out to hang onto it.That banshee is almost too F.A.S.T.Jeff can build a mean 350.
  6. It sounds like your 60 ft times may be fairly slow.It should do better than 2.5 I think. I've heard of 350's being nearly a second faster than that.
  7. Glad to hear you're going to be ok.
  8. Alot of people like the look.It also cuts down on wind resistance.
  9. I've used benoil and supertechniplate.I prefer the techniplate. I've seen the that the benoil seperated from the alcohol I use.Make sure to always reshake the gas/oil before using it after it's sat for a while.Like say a day or two.Not sure if it separates from gas. Benoil is a good oil.I never had any problems with it besides with the alcohol.
  10. A win is a win. It's good though that you realize the truth. There is some fast quadzillas out there.
  11. They are.Yarnell(marvin shaw) said the hillshooter was great for whoops. They were right.
  12. Glad to hear you're enjoying the banshee. Once you start modifying,it's hard to stop. Thought I'd warn ya.
  13. I'm doing alot better compared to last sunday.I actually went back to work thursday. Still some pain in my shoulder, but I'll be ok. What kind of gloves do you have?I've been looking at the back rest wicked racing sells.
  14. With a good port job and alky your banshee will run really good once dialed in. The motor will run cooler also.
  15. If you ride in alot of whoops, get the new marvin shaw hillshooter for the rear at least.I have one on mine.It soaks up bumps extremely well. The competition series is pretty stiff.
  16. Congradulations on the wins.
  17. Thanks for letting me know. Not sure why I would have done that.Perhaps when I let off the clutch lever, maybe it pulled my hand off the grip.Maybe I'll be more careful next time. This little 350 pulls like a rocket on the launch when it hooks up.
  18. I'm pretty sure the banshee just pulled me off it.As soon as I launched,I was already coming off the bike.As I was going off,I must have turned the front wheels toward the rail.Found this out going frame by frame of the video. It pulled me off the left side.I might have broke the aluminum tierod as I was going off the banshee.Hanging on for dear life. :baseball_w00t: I think this is what happened.???????
  19. I knew some guys that run nitromethane in a banshee. They were always having trouble with it. I've heard nitro is very rough on a motor.
  20. My stock cylinder(F.A.S.T.drag port/80 over),stock stroke has run a 7.38.It should be going into the 6's pretty easily I think. That's if I take it back to the track. That is in the 1/8th.
  21. Fortunately I didn't break anything.Just bruised me up pretty good. I'm feeling better today.
  22. I'm glad you was not a fly on the guard rail.I would have smashed ya. I hit a steel railing, and it was hard. How do I know?Because it threw me into it also. Man,trust me.Don't try that.It hurts.
  23. Here's some pictures of my banshee. At first I thought maybe my tie-rod broke or maybe the knuckle(?) that attaches the a-arm to the spindle. We're now thinking my right brake locked up.That rotor is bent.Need some different opinions.Don't want this to happen again. It's like the bottom a-arm was bent back and down and the upper a-arm slightly bent forward toward the shock. If you didn't look at the other side you might not even notice.
  24. Early october might be when we go.Not sure which weekend. My regular riding group is talking about it. Bigboybanshee and I have talked some about it too. I've got to replace the a-arms I destroyed this past weekend. Hopefully I'll have her going by then.
  25. Amen brother.I know that for sure. My wife and daughter know that too. My 2 year old who saw it kept saying,"daddy fall down,helmet,boom-boom."
