Knowing the secret to making a woman happy?Isn't that like knowing exactly how many stars there is in the sky. Only God knows.

What kind of suspension do you want for drag?
race-a-holic replied to 01bansheefox's topic in Drag Forum
This an issue I'm having problems with now.ALOT depends where you'll be racing at.If it's a smooth track, struts will be fine.If it's rough, you'll get beat to death.A set of drag shocks is what I want.Very light weight.Swingarm length and tires are a big decision.Probably need several sets of tires.Very expensive. Traction varies from place to place.JTM makes a very good swingarm extension.Still, some of the new swingarms are lighter, but not very light on the wallet. -
People might like out of frame drag pipes maybe because they enjoy hearing loss?I like in-frames myself. Not saying I'll never go to out of frames, but it's very cool beating them with in-frames when I can.
-
If he was a true gentleman, you would have won ever time.Even if he could beat you. This past weekend my wife was smoking me.She finally told me to really try to beat her.Sure I beat her,but it was against my better judgement. Then again there was a lady on this 450R racing out there and no mercy was shown to her. Then again, beating her didn't mean I'd be sleeping on the couch that night.LOL!
-
I like the looks of the LRD's.Never tried them though.I use shearer pipes.Mine's ported and on alcohol. This past weekend,my wife and I went to an atv park.We done alot of just riding. We did our fair share of racing though.People couldn't believe i go on trails with it,but I do.Not saying other pipes wouldn't be better for trails, but it pulls extremely hard from mid-range to top-end.For the best performance,I'd try either cpi's or shearer.
-
Jetting shouldn't have to change any.
-
I also tried the bolt-on parts. The improvement was slightly noticeable.Porting makes a HUGE difference.YOU NEED PORTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!The 450 will get smoked then.

There should be no way.Unless there's a hole the size of that nut in your case(caused by the nut).I seriously doubt it.It has to be there.

t-5 pipes with jetting problems
race-a-holic replied to JasonsBanshee's topic in Jetting & Exhaust Forum
I just rejetted my wife's banshee which also has T-5's.It still needs a little fine tuning, but I think you're too lean.I put a 380 in the carbs, but it might be a little rich.Try a 350.Let me know how it goes. This might sound stupid, but you do know when cruising you'll have to pull in the clutch to get it up in the RPM's before it will really take off.Seems like everyone should know that, but it doesn't hurt to ask. -
Not all of us want to see a video of that.LOL! My wife said she saw the guy she thought called the cops.He was riding his' Polaris Scrambler down the street.Ironic isn't it?Jealousy, what an ugly thing. Guess him not having a banshee make him mad. To be fair,we aren't positive it was him.
-
We got her a banshee. It's a 98.She really likes the blue and white plastic. We'll be leaving it the way it is.She's happy.
-
Them not wanting me to race down the street, that's understandable. No problem. When I'm told I can't take my daughter for a ride.ME NOT HAPPY!!!!!!!!!Sure the cop was just doing his' job,and he was cool.My daughter sure likes going for rides.Guess we'll go somewhere else to ride.
-
I just got stopped by a cop.He was real nice about it.I had been working on the carbs on my wife's banshee.I was comparing her banshee to my friends.Racing down the street.I know,I shouldn't have been doing it,but we've never got complaints called before. We have however just got several new neighbors. What aggravates me the most the cop said Arkansas just passed a law saying kids 8 and under can't ride on quads with adults, and my daughter loves riding on the 4-wheeler with me or her mom.Maybe things will settle down in a few weeks.Lesson learned. Not everyone loves quads.

selling the banshee? talke me out of this guys
race-a-holic replied to sycoracer911's topic in General Banshee Discussion
The 450's performance is really .Sorry, fell a sleep thinking about them.I just got my wife a banshee. You could ask her if she would trade her's for one,but she might bust out laughing.Seriously, the banshee's performance is addictive, but not for everyone. Not everyone likes going fast.LOL!They aren't the best trail quad.If you like a quad that slow one minute. Then hit the powerband, and you wonder if it's going to run out from under you. Then, a banshee is what you need.A few of my friends have YFZ's.They run respectably. They have pipes, different cams, and K&N filters. They will surprise ya.To me though there's not a quad out there that gives an addreniline rush like a hopped-up banshee. If your banshee doesn't scare you,you don't have enough mods. -
Doesn't everyone need a banshee?Tell her life is too short not to have one. She's really missing out.
-
First,my wife is extremely shy.Second, before she rode my banshee her interest in racing was extremely low.The banshee got her hooked. We are trying now to get her some riding experience. She is killing it a lot less now. That's within a days riding. She is shifting it very well.Listening to when she needs to shift. She even raced one of my friends today. She didn't win,but the experience is good for her.At least she's trying. Before too long I'll be asking her for racing lessons. As far as starting out on a honda.Wouldn't she pick up speed faster on foot.LOL!
-
No,it's not about sex.LOL! My wife rode my banshee for the first time last weekend and loved it.She then was extremely ready to get rid of her scrambler. We found one in Illinois. The guy met us half way last night in Missouri. It is a very clean bike that looks like it has been taken good care of.We traded even. The wife is VERY,VERY happy. She wants to slowly get into drag racing. So,a banshee was the only choice. She seems to be learning very quickly.Last weekend she rode the first banshee she's ever rode. She was wanting to race me on my dad's grizzly within like 30 minutes to an hour of riding it.Her and the banshee run away from me and the grizzly. She likes winning.I'm very proud of her.Aren't you?

You're making fun of his' pipes and you have FMF's.There's only one way to explain FMF's. LOL!

Port & Polish/new head or shave head?
race-a-holic replied to ToomeySheeLE's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
Porting will help ALOT.I'd get rid of the T-6's.What type of riding you do,does matter.Whoever you get to do it needs to know this.Don't need a drag bike for trails. -
I'm in the process of selling a 500 scrambler. It goes in the paper tomorrow.Depending how much I get for it I might be interested.I understand wanting cash. The ad is suppose to run for 3 weeks.I've had pretty good luck with this paper as far as selling things.Maybe things will work out.I live in the northeast corner of Arkansas.Let me know if you sell it.We've already found one banshee,so I'm not promising I'll buy it.Have several options, but will consider it though.
-
I really do love her.She use to never even hardly ever thought much about quads.I even bought her a polaris, and she just didn't even seem interested.I know,DUH! She rode the banshee for the first time this weekend and has become obsessed. That's a good thing though. She could have become obsessed with a Honda.LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!Anyways.I fix her up a banshee the way she wants and she's happy.I get another banshee in my shop. We're both happy. You never heard the phrase" if the wife ain't happy,no body's happy."
-
My wife rode the banshee sunday and fell in love with it.Yes,she wants me to ditch the scrambler and get her a banshee. She wants pink plastic for it.Anyone have any pictures of a banshee with this pink plastic?
-
Make sure your boost bottle isn't rubbing your pipes. The bottle doesn't help anyways, and a friend of mine actually burned his banshee up when one of his pipes actually rubbed a small crack in one side of his boost bottle(air leak).Just thought I'd let you know.
-
It may be your jetting or it may be(like you said) rider error. That's not saying anything bad about you.I've been racing for a while and my racing skills still needs ALOT of improving. If the 450's have mods it will be tough for you to beat them.Especially if they have more riding experience.Practice,practice,practice.One of my friends has a banshee with Pro-curcuits and K&N filters and he has trouble with the 450's too. He's a pretty good rider but the 450's are faster than you might think.Like some have said, porting makes a HUGE difference. The bolt-ons just help a little.Make sure if you start making it faster that the gearing is right and the tires can handle it.I went to a dragstrip last night and I might as well been racing on ice.First and second was nothing but spin, spin, spin.Time to upgrade.IMPORTANT LESSON:power is great, but it's useless if you can't put it to the ground.I'm learning that lesson right now.Don't forget about the clutches, gearing, and tires.

I'm planning on going to some drag races tomorrow night. This track welcomes quads. They will even let me race cars during the races.I might just run during time trials.I'm most interested in some time slips.I know this bike should go in the 7's.Hopefully tomorrow night is the night.Cross your fingers.
