  1. If you don't need to move your carbs farther back, then just save your money.
  2. You know him too? Now that's some inspiring reading literature.LOL!
  3. Lee bought a 450 suzuki. He was disappointed with it at first. He added a cherry bomb(it adjusts the fuel kinda like rejetting but his' is fuel injected). He also removed the stock baffle out of the exhaust and removed the lid off the airbox. These mods cost him about $30 I think. Good grief this bike runs ALOT better.I couldn't hardly believe my eyes.He was actually giving other piped 450's a head start and running them down.WOW!
  4. I'd have to agree.Sand addiction really needs better and more articles on quads.I like sand rails and all,but I'm much more into quads.I won't subscribe to it again.
  5. On my banshee last year,I was using 13/41.It seemed to really like that gearing.Tried alot of different combinations. It did have porting, shearers, and alky though. It seemed like it would pull forever. The motor really liked that gearing, but my poor little barnett clutches hated that set-up.LOL!
  6. I was told that if you have a dyna ignition to not ground it to the frame. He told me to hook it up to the wires to the stock kill switch on the left side of the handlebars. That said.I've wired mine up but have yet to start it.Still waiting on my motor to get back.
  7. 24 3/4.This swingarm is "not" perfect. It's got alot of scratches. It will make a good swingarm, but if you need perfect chrome, this is not for you.
  8. On the above picture, please look at the scratches on the left as well as the mark on the right.
  9. I'm not sure of the brand.I was told it is a +8.It has the round housing. It is chromed. It does have some scratches and a mark down the left side.It is just the swingarm and front bearings. No brake plate,brakeline,etc...I was wanting $350,but I'll take $320 shipped.
  10. I'm needing a honda rear sprocket(44 tooth).PM me if you have one please.
  11. Off the subject but 420 that banshee of your's is sweet.Looks really good.
  12. A helmet is a must.A good set of tools(metric) is an excellent idea also.Once you know the jetting is right,it would be a good idea to just get use to it and have fun for a while. If your not use to a piped banshee,it will feel like a rocket.Need to get to where you can handle it like it is before making it faster.
  13. Jeff said he was going to get me my motor back in time for that weekend.Hopefully Michael will have all his' parts back too.It will probably be that sunday when we go.Who's up for some drag racing?
  14. How do you adjust the brake lever?
  15. Just depends on what you compare it to.
  16. When my friend bought a suzuki 450,he actually went to the dealer and told them he wanted the fastest 450 they had. They had the 450R,YFZ,and the 450 suzuki. They told him the suzuki was the fastest. He bought it.First time he raced a stock YFZ,let's just say he was pretty upset.Yeah, the YFZ beat him.The suzuki beat the YFZ off the line but the YFZ reeled him in and went by him.I've rode all the 450's.The YFZ does feel like a suzuki but the YFZ is faster.I also like the 450R.I actually like all of them.
  17. "YOU HAVE TO MIX THE GAS AND OIL" Very important to know.Whoever you bought it off of,ask them if they rejetted it when the installed the pipes and what jets it has in the carbs. Is this the first sport quad you've owned or ridden? The 4-strokes have come a long ways. You probably won't out run the piped 450's.That's just my opinion. There is alot of potential in a banshee though.
  18. Yeah, for $2500 it better look like new.Offer him $1500(american). Wait, have any pictures of it by chance?
  19. I've got a friend that A&S is a sensitive subject. He said had a bad experience yet I know other people that like A&S.
  20. Easy for you to say.LOL!If you beat me,I'll be forced to start spending money again.
  21. He told me to quit PM'ing him.LOL! J/K Surprised he hasn't.I should have set some kind of record for all the PM's I've sent him.Just ask him.
  22. To me 3 grand is alot. Not everybody has a ton of money to dump into a quad. For a guy that barely gets by and is trying to build a bike,3g is huge.I understand that.Don't knock a guy that just has 3 g to spend. Yeah,I don't know what all goes on at Jeff's shop.I don't see how he get anything done with all the phone calls. If I have a question such as radiator fluid and I have dumped big money into a quad,I want an answer.Yes,Jeff would take the time to answer that. That's one of the reasons I like dealing with him.
