I talked to Michael about going to George Ray's July 15th.He'll most likely be going.Even with stock carbs,his' runs very good.It has a F.A.S.T. dune port.Traction will be his' problem.He might be borrowing a set of good tires though from one of our friends. Anybody else?

I've already been chatting a little on there website.On their forum I go by dallas350.I'm hoping I can talk them into a pro quad,street bike,pro bike class.That way everyone can have a class.I doubt any street bikes would race knowing they had to run against a crotchrocket.We'll see.

Blue duece is probably right.The 18 I put on is "HUGE". Methyman,I run an 18/38 today and my banshee loved it.The holeshots I run (had no choice at the time) didn't.It was spinning them like crazy but was really moving on topend.My little 350 runs good in my opinion. A banshee with porting even with stock carbs should smoke a stock port banshee.One of my friend's has a stock carb/ported banshee and it runs extremely well. Have you considered the tires you were running?If it's a good port job,you will probably be spinning them off.On asphault my friend's banshee will spin thru 1st and 2nd no problem.Traction is probably your problem.

Look what I found.(www.georgerays.net) On the last picture is when the Bom got a huge jump on big boy.The guy was telling us about it.He said on down toward the end he couldn't believe he run that good with Travis.When he got back,his' buddy asked him why travis just sat there when he took off.LOL!!!

Man,this day was awesome.I'm already looking forward for next time.Travis didn't properly to tell you guy about his' legion of fans.They were stopping him in the staging lanes for pictures,talking about his banshee,etc...He even had a guy offer him $13,000 for it.I had "one" guy come up to me and ask me who had the grey banshee.LOL!!!!!! I did have a little more top end than bigboy,but I might be in "big" trouble once he goes to alcohol. It's awesome on gas.I should be alot faster when I get my slicks on it.This will be interesting.

Let travis tell ya about the Bom. he run.I'll give the guy credit for trying but bigboy was too fast for him. I'll have to get some rims from bigboy for my slicks.I had to run my wife's holeshots.1st and 2nd,it was spinning like crazy and bigboy couldn't launch wide open because the track officials hate wheelies.We both had a good time.You guys should come down sometime.The timing system tore up at the track so we had to run heads up. That's what we like anyways. Nice meeting you and your wife Travis.We definitely need to do this again.

I need to do some tuning for sure.I was so excited for it to just be running,I haven't done any real dialing in at all. I'm going to bet on bigboy.I'm just hoping to make some decent passes.He has already run some impressive numbers.I'm hoping to at least run right with him so I can look at that banshee.His banshee will make mine look like an ugly duckling.I'm still proud of mine though. Can't wait.

Bigboybanshee and I will be going to my local 1/8th mile asphault track for some racing.I still have some tuning to do to mine,and I haven't had it to the track since this last build.I'll probably get beat,but I'll do my best. Anybody else want to go? WARNING: if you pull wheelies they may kick you off the track.They really frown upon wheelies. Who do you guys think will win?Be honest.I can take it. :shrug: :yelrotflmao:

You should try a 15.The 14 is probably topping your banshee out too fast.Try this.When you get about 10 to 15 feet from the finishline,pull the clutch and just let out of it.I broke out by doing this.Instead of slowing down,I went faster.Try it.

I've drag raced my friends a little.It doesn't wheelie very much.It will pull the front tires,but it's not near as bad as the raptor I had.My friend who is pretty light(about 150 lbs) can actually launch it on pavement and it's not bad at wheelies.Not sure on top speed.Just my 2 cents.

I totally agree with ya on that.My friend went to a dealer and said he wanted the fastest 450 they had.This dealer sells all the 450's.He said the suzuki was the baddest.He was told it was race ready,blah,blah,blah. My buddy got beat the first time he race a stock YFZ.He can ride really good too.Yeah,he was very upset.I would be too.The simple mods really do help alot.

When still stock,one of my friends had a 450 suzuki and was getting beat by stock YFZ's.I didn't dream what simple mods could wake a suzuki up that much.He done what you have suggested to his 450 suzuki and now he can outrun piped YFZ's and 450R's.I'm impressed. I don't suggest riding without a helmet but here's a picture of it.The YFZ he is racing against has a pipe,different cams,etc...

They aren't the same.The pro-design requires different studs for the cylinders to mount the head.They do use the same domes if I'm not mistaken.I have the pro-design on mine and just installed a NOSS on my wife's banshee.No problems with either yet.

Once you install the dyna,make sure to check your plug.If I'm not mistaken,you'll have to use a larger main jet.
