  1. I had one for years and never had a problem. To take it off i use a big ass adjustable wrench to work it off with out bending or damaging the ring.
  2. Everyone runs a stock setup??????????
  3. I just read your mods and I found the problem. All you have to do is burn those raptor plastics and you'll smoke the 450's. J/k, you should beat them with your mods. Your best bet is to buy an extended swingarm so you can launch harder. Any pics of the shee
  4. I would go with 35's. If you plan on more upgrades later they will still work for you. 33's would work too. The more HP you are making the bigger carb your gonna need to feed the motor.
  5. If you take the air box off you don't have to rejett, just retune.
  6. Did you just paint the plastics or get new ones? Bike looks good. I feel the same about the lights. I would take them off put them on only when you needed them.
  7. lets see the bike too.
  8. I like it. nice work.
  9. I agree, i think the carbs need to be tweekd and cleaned.
  10. Don't bother with the lid. get the K&N filter and adapter, and for saftey get the outer wear. When you get more mods done, go with pod filters and stay out of the mud and wet stuff.
  11. Bearings and seals are cheap, you may as well through some new ones in for piece of mind. Thats what i would do.
  12. I would recommend a set of toomey t-5's, vorce reeds, and an air filter. You will see BIG gains over stock. It will be a different machine. If you don't ride in the mud i would take the air box out and put pods on. If you do, just get a good K&N filter and leave the air lid off. Tires would be my next mod. if you ride in the soft stuff paddles will be a big help. Oh, welcome to the HQ.,
  13. All good builders are gonna have a wait. I went with fast.
  14. Lets the ramp, your bike, something.
  15. Get an in line temp gauge and do a test.
  16. I've noticed some people have gotten really nasty on here lately. If those new guys don't get there questions answered they might commit the ultimate sin and sell their banshee for a four stroke. Plus when they ask the dumb questions it makes me feel smart cause i know the answere. I can never find good info with that search.
  17. I heard bad stuff about them, and east coast atv wouldn't even install one if i wanted. So, i went with a dyna. I'm happy with it.
  18. I have all that stuff done, but i want something better. Any ideas?
  19. fasterthnu You should get those black rims in the front too. I like how those rims look with your color combo.
  20. Don't waste your money.
  21. I seen some with flames cut in to the front fenders. That looked really cool. I vote to cut them, but be creative.
  22. The pictures are poor quality, but it looks like they are ported. I'm not a big fan of Vito's big bore kit. I would pass on that one.
  23. I got my bike set up to go fast, but i was wondering if anyone upgraded there breaks. I put an aftermarket rotor on, but what about the master cylinder? I also have braided steel lines. I took off the front brakes so i really want to beef up the rear.
  24. I just took her this weekend, runs like a champ.
