  1. I've got one if blewbyu's chassis isn't your cup of tea. I can send it rolling or bare. It DOES need bushing for the a arms, there is some play. Otherwise, it's a 98 with clean and clear Michigan Title.
  2. Got a stator for my bike as a backup... It was clean, shipped quick, just as described, etc. Constant communication, as smooth as a deal can be... Thanks Jarrett....I appreciate it...
  3. Bolt ons alone aren't going to get it done. Motor work, setup and seat time/experience will.
  4. Get a 4 or 7 mil cheetah with a power valve. But if your cylinders have a strong drag port on the, you're used to having no bottom or mid range power, all up top... It'll be cheaper and easier to bolt a 10 mil cub on....and I'd get a 68mm bore before I bought a 72 super cub. Out of the box, the 68mm runs better. With a TON of porting, the super cub will beat it out on a dyno by 3 to 5 HP.
  5. Thank you Jeff! C'mon guys, would rather see a fellow HQ'er nab this stuff before it's off to Fleabay.... Radiator and radiator mounting brackets are sold pending payment...
  6. D'oh...thank you Cam. Correction, BILLS pipes and silencers. The silencers look just like the PT fat boys, I had that stuck in my head... Sorry, and thanks again CAM!! I have Fiberglass Fullbores coming from my bud here in MI, and I just got material to make an all white seat cover.... Full maier plastics are up for sale. 300 shipped. Keep in mind, if you yave ever shipped rear fenders, you know how pricey shipping is...50 to 75. If you can find me CHEAP shipping for all the plastics, I'm negotiable!!!
  7. I am also going to be selling my seat cover and stock cut 1996 plastic you see on my bike now in the next week or two...if anyone is interested.
  8. Ok guys. It is DIRTY...and I spent a few minutes cleaning parts up. They will all come with FREE Michigan dirt, no charge. ALL PAY PAL USERS ADD 3% to the shipped prices. All Shipped prices are via Fed Ex Express saver, if you want faster shipping from 48091, you pay for it. There is NO insurance included, you want it, you pony up for it. Parts will ship out Tuesdays and Fridays...so, you pay before one of those days, that's when it'll ship. Guys, I'm negotiable with these parts, but don't waste my time low balling, etc. I know what they're worth. I live in St. Clair Shores, MI which is 10 minutes or less from Detroit by Lake St. Clair, local pickups are more than welcome, and I will deduct shipping costs accordingly. Paul Turner Pipes, NO Dings or dents. Pipe sealers or hangers not available, sorry. Chrome is 8.5 to 9 out of 10. I used a real fine scotch brite pad to clean off the dried/caked on mud. You can go the last mile to get 'em pretty. There is a few rust spots, they cleaned up within 5 minutes. 275 shipped. Colby, spider tracks and stock fronts all on gold rims. Spiders have 75 to 80% of the tread on them, fronts 75% or so. I DID not carefully inspect the rims... 150 shipped for all 4 tires and rims. They hold air, the bike has been sitting in my buddies garage for a few months. He pulled the motor, it sat. Stock air box with lid, Pro-Design plate (For removing the lid and securing the filter) K&N and outerwear. 75 shipped. I have a buyer for the plastic, if he does not want 'em....I will post a price in fairness to him. They are Maier black plastic, no cracks or bends. The normal scuffs from being ridden, but no "White Crease" stress marks, breaks or bends. COMPLETE, rear, race cut front (done by maier) shroud and tank cover. Rear fenders, dirty, no creases or breaks. 80 shipped. (Shipping plastic because of the size of the box is $$$$) Stock carbs with TORS removed and jetted by me. NO Cable. Complete, bolt on...(Will need to adjust jetting to your motor) 60 shipped. Complete chassis MINUS tires. Clean, straight, 99 chassis with clean and clear MI title. I'll include all the switches, brakes, radiator, gas tank, etc. Will need rear brake pads, sprocket and a chain. Otherwise, fresh, uncut and straight. 750 local pickup. YOU ARRANGE all shipping, and I will ship it at actual cost. If no one buys the chassis as a whole, I will begin to break it down. Pictures.
  9. Neverdull will take off some rust too, and polish while you're at it. Just a LOT of elbow grease.
  10. Fast bike, great guy...somone's gonna have a nice turn key bike and flat out bust some ass... TTT....
  11. Well, it looks like I wasted a lot of money on my cub cylinder and drag chassis setup. All I needed was stockers ported, a single carbs and FMF pipes to be the fastest banshee naturally aspirated. Some people live in a very, very small world...and don't venture out side the box very often... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Yamaha-Cust...p3286.m14.l1308
  12. 54mm is stock stroke length. You can buy a 6 inch digital caliper, stick the end in the spark plug hole and 0 TDC and BDC....get the measurement that way.
  13. Good luck....
  14. Guys...I hate to give prices, etc., until I see the bike. It's been over two years since I removed the TORS, airbox, jetted it and put a cool head on it. PM me what you are interested in. Jason, someone already wants the plastics ahead of you...but, I want to see what kind of shape their in, shipping cost$$, etc.
  15. My bike has only thrown the chain once, and it was because my friend Frank wadded ass on it on the ice this last year. Otherwise, and this is my opinion, you run such stiff shocks or struts on a drag bike, the chain doesn't flex like it does on a suspended duner/trail bike. As long as you buy a quality chain, keep it in proper adjustment, you don't need one. And... You run bigger front sprockets on the drag bikes, hard to find or you'll have to grind the case saver to fit...most of the time. My case had the whack when I got them, the accident on the ice took out the engine stay and a little more case. It's all good...I don't run one.
  16. Shit....my cases are more "lightweight" than that...LOL...
  17. Hey guys...just throwing this out there. My buddy is fronting me his banshee to part out. I know the motor has a smoke piston, and it's pretty much spoken for. I know it has Bills pipes...stock carbs with TORS removed, POD air filters. It's a stock chassis with full plastic, it has spider trac rear tires. When I get it home this weekend, I'll go over it. But I thought if someone needs some pipes, tires, chassis or suspension components....I'm putting the word out now.
  18. 85 and 86 GT has always been my favorite body style Mustang. That is IMPRESSIVE...nice rid. Post up some pics and vids from the track. Who did your engine work?
  19. This is what I'm basing my findings on....your post. No way to get an accurate color/jetting read doing this.
  20. Did you warm it up on these plugs? If these were brand new plugs, warmed up on old ones, and you put these in and made 1 pass @ WOT to 6th gear, you have the largest smoke ring known to man...ALL of the porcelin is colored...and your bike will be crop duster and foul plugs left and right. Not trying to give you a hard time, but if you followed the instructions for a proper plug chop via the link I pasted, there is NO WAY these plugs should have that much color being brand new out of the box. Sorry.....
  21. 14 over Wild West arm, no link, banshee roundhouse. Fresh chrome, 2 passes at the track on the chrome. Looking for a 12 over arm to trade, or sell outright for 400 plus shipping.
  22. X2. When you go cub, you need to upgrade the clutch, longer swinger, tranny mods, etc. too many people spend money getting HP out of the motor, but it's pointless without getting it to the ground or not being able to use it. Get a dune port...you'll be happier.
