  1. Im pretty sure you can use the ones you used on your truck. All i can is be carefull the spring doesnt get lose or youll be in for something bad.
  2. I got them from K&K ATV.
  3. +2 brakelines should be just fine. I have +3 on my +3+1 a-amrs and they are actually alittle to long.
  4. I finally just tightened everything up good and played around with all the fine adjutments untill i worked the problem out. Took 6 hours but its all good now. All i can say is its a night and day differance when riding with them. I cant wait to get shocks and see how it handels then. Even seemed to jump better.
  5. If i were you i would just take the carbs off the bike and do a really good cleaning job.
  6. Yeah im pretty dead set on fox floats now i spent the last hour looking and they seem to be the cheapest. On top of that i came across alot of reviews saying they were awsome. I guess ill try to order them from mxsouth.com unless anyone knows where i can get them for less than 625.
  7. OK im so stumped right now.... I cant decide what shocks to get. Im looking to stay in the 750 range i really dont have the money to go any higher. So iv been looking at fox floats, works pro series, and elkas. For the money the works pro series look to be the best deal but from all the talk iv herd anything from works just isnt up to par with even lower end elkas and such. I really dont know what to do... So if any of you guys know whats the best for that kinda money it would really help. Im not gonna count fox floats out i just dont know if they will preform as well as a shock with rezzi, compression adjustments, and all tat other cool stuff. Also if you guys find any good deals on shocks be sure to send them my way. Kthx
  8. Yeah you can always go with yfz450 shocks but from everything i read they arent much better than stock. As for the swingarm it all depends on what your doing. If you ride tight trails the shorter swing arm will aloow you to turn tighter. On top of turning tighter itll get a shit load of traction. The front end might come up more but i always like to be able to get it up on command to get over stuff.
  9. I must say i agree with everything you say man
  10. It is a common problem if you let gas or anything sit in your carbs for a long time. Saying they sat in a box full of parts for awile this is likely your problem. Just tear them down and clean the hell out of them. That should do the trick. good luck man :thumb:
  11. Well the question is how much do you want to spend? You can get a nice set of shocks like Elka, TCS, and Axis. Those are only a few brands but they are some of the best. Either way your looking at 500-1000 for a good set of shocks all depends on the features you want. If you look around enough im sure you could come acroos some a-arms cheap too. Lately iv seen brand new Lonestar a-arms going for around 500. All in all if your trail riding id just stick with getting a nice set of shocks and maybe getting your rear swing arm cut 1-2inchs. Best of luck to you man there are so many options out there ti choose from. :shoothead:
  12. All i can say is you get what you pay for. When i used to montain bike all the time i had a few cheapo ones that broke all the time. After i finally spent the 600 on a nice Diamondback it was like a whole diffrent world everything always worked great and never had issues with anything. I would deff. recomend Diamond back bikes they are reasonably price and well constructed.
  13. Yep they should work fine.
  14. If i was you just untape all of your harness and cut all the useless wires out then retape it. I plan to do it again myseff once i get a kill switch. Heres the wiring digram. Hope this helps you out :thumb:
  15. You can try to go 38 in the rear. If you just get a 15 in front youll get close to same gear ratio without all the hassle of changing the rear.
  16. Welcome man!! All i can say is i hope you have a good job that pays well. :baseball_w00t:
  17. first number is how many turns the front turns before the rear makes a full revolution
  18. Dont worry about nerf bars right now there are alot better things you could get. Id say get pipes and an airfilter at the same time. I personally am going to do all my suspension work befor i drop more money into my motor. No use if you cant controll it.
  19. with those mods i would think you need to be at the stock pilot
  20. I was having issues with the wheels hitting the a-arms but its all good now. As for the floats i really want to get them but im thinking for alittle bit more i could get some TCS shocks with rezi that would preform better. Ill just have to see.
  21. Yep try your pilot... i went 4 months after a nasty wreck and it started on the 3rd kick. This was during the winter also.
  22. Well I finally worked all the problems out and just finished getting it back together tonight. Hopefully by next week i can order a set of fox floats and have it all done.....for now atleast........ anyways heres a picture its not exactly clean but whatever.
  23. yeah im gonna have to do that. sucks though i really wanted to ride this weekend
  24. tryed changing sides didnt work =(
