  1. Give wolfpack racing a call they have YFZ shock conversions.
  2. Hey guys its time to get tires. There are so many out there i really dont know what to get. I hear klaws are pretty good but i have no idea myself. I was looking at Razr 18" rear 20" fronts mounted on Douglas red labels for $310. Sounds like a good price to me. I have Razrs in the rear right now and i like them but iv herd there are alot better tires out there so all suggestions are welcome. One last thing i really dont want to go over 400 for rims and tires.
  3. Hey guys i wanted to know if anyone one here rides in the raleigh durham area of nc. Kinda gets boring when i have no one good to ride with. seems like everytime i go out to ride with friends im so far ahead i have to just stop and wait for them and it gets old fast. Also anyone know of any MX tracks close to this area.
  4. Well today was my first day out with the new shocks. All i can say is in-fucking-sain!! Even though it was only 20min i couldnt believe how much better it handled. Got rid of all my chassis roll. not to mention it keeps the front tires planted like no other. I cant wait to get a full day of riding and jumping in.
  5. I remember mine i was looking for a new fourwheeler after my POS trailblazer i got when i was 10 blew up. Well a week or so after looking on the net me and my dad went to the yamaha shop and looked at all the bikes first thing i saw was a YFZ450 and i was in love with the looks. My dad who raced fourwheelers years back when it was all 2 strokes automatically went for the banshee. He started talking about when he first saw them. Not a week later he found some guy selling one and later that night i went to look at it. I get there check it out and it looked good so the guy being really cool started it up and said go for it. After going down his driveway i get on the side of the road and nail it and much to my surprise the front end went straight up for the first 2 gears. On my way back all i could do is smile from ear to ear. So we talk to the guy a bit more and on our way home all i wanted to do is ride it again. The following day the guy delivered it to my house. To this day i still smile when i ride my banshee.
  6. Looks good, after i get my money situation figured out ill get back to you.
  7. Thats odd man i run 14-41 when i go in the woods and i have no problems. Only problem i really ever have is keeping it in the right gear at all times. Best advice i can tell you is dont be afraid of the gas thats what its there for.
  8. The mans got a point. To bad i dont have a PCer close to me I want to get so many things done.
  9. That seems shorter than stock but thats just me. Anyways theres nothing a zip tie cant fix.
  10. Not a bad price IMO. got any pictures of it.
  11. What ya asking for that -2. Im kinda in the hole after the 1500 or so i put into the front end so i might not have all the funds for a week or so.
  12. Well heres a little update of them on the shee shopefully ill have a ride report wither tommrow night or in the following days.
  13. You got it man just get a bigger as in thicker o-ring and put it where the old one is. I did this months ago and i have yet to hear it rattle.
  14. Ha Ha Hahaha.. That was really funny for some odd reason.
  15. I dont want to be an ass or anything but you keep posting stupid ass stuff in numerous threads. If you dont know wtf your talking about dont make up some random stuff when someone is looking for an anwser from someone who actually has experiance. Also plz read a whole thread befor posting. You posted on mine tellin me to get +2+1 a-arms and shocks when 10 posts back i had already gotten the shocks and the a-arms. Yes im pretty sure im being an ass in all but for some reason your lack of intelligence perturbs me. oh btw dont complain about a small fee of 30$ thats not even required. But then again I guess thats probably a good sign of your age. Rant done. Have a nice day. :thumb:
  16. Aftermarket axle and rear shock revalve still to come. Maybe later ill go with a -1 or -2 swingarm also. I pretty much gave up on the whole gncc thing its mx all the way now.
  17. First off man read the damn thread before you go posting somthing that is way to late considering i have a-arms already and i dont think i ever remember asking about tires.. Anyways i got my Elkas 4 days after ordering them from WorldWide Performance parts. All i can say about them right now is they look awsome and man are they beefy.
  18. Well i just went with the elkas. I figured you couldnt go wrong with them and you know they are quality. Should have pics posted up in a few weeks when they arrive.
  19. I need to know this quick if anyone can help me i would really appriciate it. Its either fox floats for 700 or Elka Trip piggyback compression adjustment for 800. M thinking for the extra 100 elkas are gonna be way better. If anyone knowswhere i can get a better price plz fill em in also...
  20. I had the very same issues with my +3+1 a-arms. I spent 3 days messing around till i fianally got them adjusted right to where they worked perfect. all i can say is take your time and good luck
  21. Thats a rather bold statement buddy! My friend got a KTM a year or so ago and they come standard with a hydraulic clutch. For the short time i got to ride it i was in love. Shit i think i could shift with my pinky figer all day and not get tired. Maybe you just had a bad one or it could just be personal preferance. Best thing i can say to do is find someone with a hydraulic clutch and try it out for yourself.
  22. I really wouldnt see any problem doing it. I mean shit its free why not. Also it wont hold up as good as PC but it should be fine
  23. I myself have fmf only bc i didnt have the money to get tommeys. If you have the money and sound is no issue get yourself tommeys. Not saying fmf isnt good there just not as good as tommeys
