  1. How much of a difference in jetting do you guys think there would be in going from drag pipes to T5's?? Let me know if you need more info...
  2. I gotta jump in here, you guys are a riot! I have to stroke the left drag pipe and talk dirty to her or shee won't turn on. But the catch here is, it's a relationship not a one night stand so when your done riding her you have to cuddle or else shee won't do it again...
  3. I don't think they've opened the great sand dunes, I kinda doubt they ever will. Not sure I believe this rumor or not but heard from someone that they may try to close down walden! If they do, there almost won't be a need to have a quad anymore besides trail riding, but I'm a dune rider DAMN IT!
  4. Oh, Ok cool no problem, just don't want to miss em, Thanks!
  5. I'll buy them if you still have them, I sent you a PM also.
  6. How do you circumcise a hillbilly? --Kick his sister in the jaw...
  7. I know where you are talking about yeah but fortunately, I've never gotten stuck down there. My banshee has always pulled real well, but there are still some holes out there that are a little intimidating but I'll try em. What kind of paddles did you have?
  8. No timing advance and I can't remember exactly what my compression was the last time I checked it and I also forgot to check it before I tore the bike apart. I do know that it was actually pretty high compression but I'm convinced I could do better. I am buying a adjustable timing plate so if I do advance, what size would you recommend? I usually use race gas but not alway as it is obviously expensive.
  9. All I know is I definitely noticed a much snappier throttle and quicker rev after I had it lightened so I would love to do it again I just need to make sure it's done right so I don't get stranded somewhere. Don't know if any of you have ever gone riding in Walden, CO sand dunes but there are deep holes in the woods out there that you would never get out of if you broke down (short of trying to get a truck out there with a winch.)
  10. I ride around 8500' in the colorado mountains, I have 20 cc domes in my coolhead now, drag pipes, ported and polished, dual K&N setup. If I go to 18 cc domes will I still be able to run pump gas or only race. Let me know if more info is needed. Thanks guys
  11. Actually I'm right at 200 so it's probably a toss up...
  12. So what would I be looking at for a cost for this then??
  13. Just curious, I want to get my crank welded but don't know where to get it done. Is this something that a machine shop could do and if so, where on the crank should they weld. Or am I gonna have to mail that heavy beeeaach somewhere?
  14. I'm still trying to decide if I'm gonna lighten the next one or not. I would hate to be down in a hole in the sand dunes up in Walden, CO and that thing shear off again.
  15. Yeah, I had it lightened and it looks like they did take it from that face so that's probably what happened. No i've never used the wrong puller so it probably was lightened too thin or something. Oh well, shit happens.
  16. Sorry forgot picture....
  17. Has anyone ever seen this crap happen, what a pain in the asssssssss! It sheared off like a donut while riding. Only took 3 hours and 2 pullers!!
  18. Sweet, so you wound your new wire at 335 and 45 turns correct? Thanks Man!
  19. Selling the front and rear plastics?
  20. "duneslinger": I would prefer to try to rewind myself to save money for the flywheel and other mods for now, so what is your advise, know of any how-to's? I'll have to post a pic later tonight of what happened to my flywheel, kinda crazy, has anyone ever seen a flywheel sheer off in a circle, like a donut??? I'll post it tonight...
  21. I did a search and the closest thing I've found so far is how to rewind the stator on a 4 stroke honda. Don't know how different it is, if at all?? They mention Ricky Stator though... http://4strokes.com/tech/honda/brpstatr.asp
  22. I want to put banshee rear hubs on my wifes blaster so I can interchange wheels. Before I take everything apart I wanted to know if anyone already knows if they are the same axle splines or not. 1989 banshee and I think 1992 blaster?
  23. Anyone know of a good "how-to" on rewinding a stator to get more power out of it. Or is it not worth it???
  24. Anyone from denver area, Come on Banshee riders (or anyone I guess)
  25. Sweet thanks man!
